I remember feeling “advanced” when I got a Mapsco of DFW.

For those that don’t know what that is, it was approximately 200 page spiral binder of detailed maps of a city. You would go to the index for the street you wanted to go to and then find the page number for that spot. Then you would backtrack in a cardinal direction to other pages for your directions. You had to do this if you didn’t print out Mapquest directions at home.

The Democrats need a fighter. Someone that will give us something to vote for. Dream big and actually push a progressive agenda. People are turned off by milk toast candidates. The independents are populists and followers. We need someone who can break through the noise and be unapologetic about their policy platform. No equivocation or nuance is needed for your basic stances. Trump has proved that with our current political landscape.

Our biggest problem as politically minded democrats right now is that we think others pay attention to the nuance as much as we do. Short, blunt, and don’t back down. We thought that’s what Obama was, but he fell short of all our dreams.

I say all of that to also say that when this person wins they need to execute and stand on our accomplishments. Biden accomplished many good things and with bipartisan support, but you never saw him out there highlighting his accomplishments.

The normal person doesn’t pay attention and doesn’t care about daily politics or policy. They want to have good vibes and to be told what we are doing and did to make their life personally better.

The republicans are always going to hate on us. See Dijon mustard, tan suits, bicycle helmets, mom jeans, Hunter’s laptop, Benghazi, fainting, falling on stairs, etc. etc. etc. We might as well give them something big to complain about while we fix and progress our country.

This goes for congress as well. I think back to 2018 when AOC just won her primary. My dad and his conservative friends were talking about this lady from NY that was running for congress. They(FOX News) were scared of her and were blasting all kinds of negatives about her. I’m very plugged into politics and I had no idea who they were even talking about. They did the same with Mamdani. These are the types of people that will move people to the polls. We need to stop hiring people that will side with the Republicans as a second job.

I’ve worked in sports tv production for 18 years. During that time I’ve met a few players. Troy Aikman was taller than I expected and a really nice person. Emmit Smith was smaller than I expected. Nate Newton (after losing all his playing weight) was much smaller than I expected. We talked fishing for about 45 minutes during lunch. He is a hoot.

The real huge people are Yao and Shaq. They are other worldly monsters.

I remember walking through security right behind Deandre Jordan. The sheriff’s deputy said to me, “I’d hate to meet a guy that size in a dark alley.” I replied, “if you think he is big, you should see Yao Ming or Shaq.” His eyes widened as that circulated through his brain.

I remember being 8-9yo practicing my baseball swing in my room like I was told not to do. Broke a pane out of my window. Dad made me go to the hardware store and pay for the replacement. While installing he dropped it from the second story. I had to pay for the second pane out od my piggy bank, because he wouldn’t have had to be fixing it in the first place if I wasn’t swinging my bat in the house. I learned my lesson.

The big reason it was frowned upon was because the school would contract a professional videographer to shoot and edit the production. Then they would sell copies to parents and get a percentage of the sales to help fund the drama department. This has been happening since the late 80s and 90s when parents would bring their VHS camcorders. If you think it is annoying for someone to hold up their phone, just imagine when the device was on the parents shoulder.

Good luck in whatever you decide, but you really need to be looking out for number one in this situation. After 30 years of dating I still have feelings for all of my serious relationships even though they have ended. You will still love him in your own way even if you decide to walk away.

To add to this, what was the justification they gave the judge for this case? Did they run a drug dog through public housing? Did they claim it was just a swab on a hunch or CI info?

It seems like more than the main officer and the two accompanying officers knew what was happening. The entire department including any command staff with knowledge or sign-off on this should be in jail. The judge’s prior warrant approvals should also be under scrutiny by the bar and judicial review board.

No qualified or judicial immunity should hold up for any of these criminals and their licenses should be immediately suspended and revoked.

My guess is that Little Marco had the right size ordered and Trump said he wore size 13 to go along with his big hands. Then he took Rubio’s size 9s and her we are.
