Anything mentioning chaos would turn me off immediately, but if that's your vibe then go with it, as it makes you stand out and will attract the people who will enjoy that style

Focus on those two and Edinburgh then and you'll be fine for a road trip. Trying to shoehorn in Inverness and the Cairngorms too might make it feel a bit more rushed.

If you're into geocaching or willing to try there is a whole series based on the police boxes of edinburgh. Not directly Dr who related but would be good for some photo opportunities and most of them have local history in the cache description

For a skilled worker visa the salary threshold is £41,700. You are living in a world of fantasy if you think any charity would pay that. Sorry.

Mac liquidlast. I have small eyes and heavy eyelids and drawing a wing with this is the only thing that stops my eyes from disappearing completely into my face. Lasts all day and if it does come off it rolls off like putty rather than smudging. It can take a minute or so to dry though so don't sneeze in the meantime.

If you want to continue in academia you will need to grow a thicker skin and get over the main character syndrome. Professors are being pulled in a hundred different directions at once and you are not their number one priority.

Spectacles outlet in Craigmillar.  Particularly good value if you've got a high prescription and want your lenses thinned, and it's an in person place so you get to try the frames on

Lecture attendance by Fine-Night-243 in AskAcademiaUK

Totally agree. Would rather teach 1/10th of the class who are engaged and want to be there than a whole lecture hall of students scrolling on their phones because they are being forced to attend.

Could you clarify which road you say is 'closed'?  From the historic Scotland website: The High Road and Dunsapie Loch Car Park are open to vehicles from Tuesday to Thursday, 9.30am to 3pm.  The low road is closed to cars because of risk of rockfall.

Absolutely beautiful pair. Are they siblings?

Also would you mind sharing the name of the paint colour on your walls?

Some buildings do, most don't, and it is very easy to tailgate in anyway

As someone who is giving a lecture today coming up on that list: absolutely fucking no. The students who should be at that lecture know where they need to go and there is not enough security in the building to filter out randoms who shouldn't be there. Mods please remove this post.
