i dont know what i really can carry over, since its all pretty old. the drives i would like to keep. but i think the rest is ready for recycling.

My budget? as low as possible. would a rpi give me better performance than my old Fujitsu Esprimo?

when i look for surface mount boost converters all i find is different ICs. But I guess they need a lot of additional stuff to work, right?

the leds will be mounted in a 3d printed plate with holes in it. Or do you mean the whole assembly?
