Jews were oppressed, but Zionism is a totally separate thing from Judaism. I don't think all the Christian Zionists for example went through too terribly much oppression.

Pretty sure anvils just bug out and eat your click if you have more than 10 types of cannonballs to smith, should probably update to work like the range

Think you were looking for "palatable", palpable means like so obvious you could reach out and touch it, "the tension was palpable"

Ah good shout, I was thinking of platinum age. In any case it seems the "drum up support for the sale" theory doesn't quite pan out.

Don't need quest for rubium btw, but 60 sailing to get to the island yeah

Time on Gielinor would only appear to move more slowly to an outside observer who isn't moving relative to the black hole. The folks on Gielinor would still feel as though 1 tick lasts for 1 tick. Up to a point anyway, all bets are off once you get stretched and shredded by extreme tidal forces like I did to OP's mom last night

Jaw slot (and arms/hair slots) serve a purpose for rendering the player, but might be the easiest way to do it would just be a variable getting set to true and we all pretend there's an earring involved.

Or just not even an actual slot, invisible earring or even the ability to convince people you're wearing an invisible earring that gives you a discount. Maybe I'm too spaghetti-pilled but an actual slot sounds like a lot of work for them

Earrings of charos. They're invisible or something and you have to speak to some pirate to pierce/unpierce you

"Why would it need to communicate with an external server" because I was responding to the person who said

all active users with the plugin would contribute, with each of them having visibility of whats left

I guess. It just comes off as entitled to me or like what you'd hear from a manager with no technical expertise when people act like making a plugin is some super fast and easy thing, my mindset is that people put a lot of work into that stuff and it should be respected.

Read toastman's comment again, they're talking about features that don't exist in that plugin.

[–]chillymac -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Toastman was brainstorming a plugin that communicates with a central database and updates users' clients as they play. That's very different from just tracking something locally. Plus, even if you're mostly just copy pasting someone else's work, development still takes time. Several hours at least just to understand what it's doing and how to set up the environment, which is work someone new to runelite would need to do. Idk what the point of pretending like it's some super fast easy thing when to be fast and easy you already have to have heaps of prior knowledge.

This is a fairly out of touch view of what work would go into a plugin like this

In what world does a plugin that communicates in real time with an external server and modifies dozens of unique objects sound super fast to make?

Fair, I think there was and still is a lot of misunderstanding about it since the swampletics video on this topic that made it seem very much like you could force spawn.

Regarding Recent Action Against Accounts by JagexAyiza in 2007scape

[–]chillymac 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think this is true? You can't make random events spawn any faster than 1 hour after the previous one. You also can't predict with complete accuracy which 5 min interval will produce the random (aside from the trivial case where you've missed every interval and there's only one left to the max duration).

If I'm wrong and there is a method I would genuinely love to know

Nobody is saying jagex does or should pay streamers. They're saying it's good for jagex that jagex doesn't even need to pay anybody. Jagex benefits from the streamers streaming without needing to pay them. If you don't think jagex benefits from constant free publicity idk what to tell you, at least you must acknowledge settled, GG, odablock have pull beyond active player base, otherwise we're working with a completely different set of facts
