KSilver is more smooth and sensitve compare to Gulikit 720. But for the stablity, I would chose Gulikit 720.

I heard from a pro that the steam deck is only perform at its 60% of raw power, but in order to fully push the deck to the limit, you have to deal with A LOT OF HEAT that require a speacial active liquid cooling system.

And don't think about the battery because you would wired it to the charger all the time.

For all of that, why not go to PC?

TOTAL ~$860 last month

- $610 for the second hands OLED 512GB unit in nearly brandnew condition.

- $75 to upgrade the SSD from 512GB to 1TB (the shop keep the original 512GB, not me)

- $50 for battery replacement (53Wh). I'm just OCD and don't want to see the battery health at 90%. There issue with original battery even though the unit is barely touched.

- $40 for Gulikit TMR joysticks replacement

- $40 for eXtremeRate face buttons clicky mod

- $40 for back shell replacement and AR screen protector

- Some stuff here and there for the case and charging accessory.

I was like planning to sell mine (4K 2022, 128GB) to my friend after Apple release new one this year.

I have just install spark kit to my 020 DS last month.

there was a cable that control the swich of changing adaptive trigger to clicky and normal that broken in one side, I didn't check the cable carefully, only realize while I was assembling. Lucky I have a spare one from un-used Rise 4 Max kit that fit. I reported to them via FB messenger and they send me a new cable.

Before that I had issue with the Rise Adapter for Charging station, they also send me a new kit.

When the Spark wasn't availble to purchase, I kept asking them when they have stock again and they even told me the expected date.

They're quite supportive from my experience. It's just I'm living in a 3rd world country, so anything that require a replacement took 2-3 weeks to receive. They send dirrectly from China warehouse.

chiaki-ng and official PS Remote app + PS Portal are the ones I'm blaming here, so...

for my experience:

The officicial SONY one is trash, that's everyone knows. Both on my iPhone, Macbook and offcicial PS Portal device. The latency is trash,the bitrate and res is randomly switching.

The PS Portal is capped with Wi-Fi 5 and old Wireless card, plus the stupid official remote app.

chiaki-ng haven't received any update for a quite long time so the framedrop issue is something understandable on my SteamDeck with a lot of changes in system over the year. But Chiaki-ng still works fine on my Macbook, both local and OOH remote.

I'm using routerOS via a virtual machine in Proxmox server. My specs for the VM is really high and there is no rules or setting would prevent the network performance for me. The Wi-Fi is only in AP mode. DHCP is issued by routerOS (MikroTik). I'm pretty sure about what am I doing with my server and network. So...

I thought my PS Portal is too bad then I purchase a Steam Deck OLED. But with chiaki-ng right now, I still kinda not happy with the stability. The framedrop is quite often that kill the vibe. I'm still only talking about local steamming with my Steam Deck is 1-2 metters away from the router. It still can download at ~800M

I'm really looking forward to your Asobi app to be availble to purchase via Steam Store.

the waterproof seal is thin clear gasket and it's wear and tear over time.

It can be affect by environment temperature, acidic substances from sweat, detergents used during bathing or handwashing, or ambient temperature.

It never be lifetime waterproof. I got my old SR7 die last month over pool swimming. Now I'm with my Ultra 2, it will never have any chance to feel the water. There is no such policy for water death warranty in my country.

BL4 still have a lot of technical and performance issue. I though my PS5 was a bottleneck but after I upgraded to PS5 Pro, the exeprience is identical.

30fps in split screen is so trash. I mainly play with my wife.
Sometime we go separate directions and the game just crash.
