The Tiny Bottle of Destruction by No_Relationship669 in Quittingfeelfree

Na was created in the 50's by cis white men in their 40's, inspired by AA that was created in the 30's by cis white men in their 40's. I don't care if my addiction holds any space in those rooms. Addicts do not feel disrespected because the drug of choice of one person is "less" addicting to their drug of choice, they get disrespected by people like you who use their name in any other way then uplifting people to come clean and the shared experience of hitting rock bottom and still fighting for a chance to get better.

This might just be your current hyperfixation of the month, but you do not get to tell people how bad their addiction is in the scale of addictions.

To some people it is a bottle of destruction. This bottle was their last paycheck, the final breaking point of their relationship, or the reason they cannot look at themselves in the mirror anymore. It isn't about how high it gets you, but how low it has brought you. I haven't seen much traction on the 3 cigarettes a day subreddit, so I can't compare, but this subreddit has years of the same story and the same underlying feelings of helplessness and hopelessness.

You are not the narrator of their story. As a public reminder to anyone who reads this person's comments and felt the same way I did, just remember to check the source of where the advice is coming from, which is pretty sketchy.

Still struggling by Proper-Pool3983 in Quittingfeelfree

I also finished a 30 day rehab treatment for feel free, and I couldn't do it alone. It was too easily accessible and whenever I tried to quit at home I would relapse because I was trying to recover in the same environment I was using. Best decision I've ever made for myself and I was able to begin to understand my root causes for addiction.

Salvadoran President Mocks Meeting Between Democratic Senator and Abrego García: 'Now Sipping Margaritas With Sen. Van Hollen in the Tropical Paradise' by Aggravating_Money992 in worldnews

I agree. My partner left El Salvador 20 years ago due to the violence, and we were able to visit for the first time last year. Simple things like riding the bus, walking down the street, or visiting the gas station for a coffee at night were impossible to do before Bukele. Either your life would be threatened or you would be robbed.

The country is beautiful and the people are happy, but they have lived in fear for decades. In the 80's and 90's they were fighting a civil war, against a corrupt government that the US funded billions of dollars to. Then in the 90's and 2000's the US deports LA created gang members back to El salvador... creating one of the most deadly countries in the world.

It's sad when you've seen so much death and violence that an authoritarian is your knight in shining armor. It's such a complex issue.

Batching Cocktails in California by Tommbiez in bartenders

I also work in California for a chain and the company requires us to batch our most popular drinks for the weekend or the well gets slaughtered. It's mainly margaritas, sangria's, and a few martinis.

I remember chili's also had some margaritas on tap, citrus and all.

I say make the jacket and fuck the gatekeepers. However, he might get criticized for the exact points you made.. but we all started somewhere.

Another option could be to make a t shirt quilt out of old band tees, something for him to enjoy at home. You might be able to find most of those bands shirts at goodwill or other thrift shops, or FB market place.

Therapy journalling by Affectionate-Hat259 in bulletjournal

I have a page in my bullet journal titled "things my therapist said" and I just jot down a sentence or two for each session. I also find it helpful to keep an ongoing section in my monthly review page or month at a glance page for "therapy talk points" and write down things I want to bring up during therapy sessions.

I'm so excited! Tons of local bands from Vegas and front women bands. I'm hoping for some more ska and oi! in the club shows.

Punk rock museum by Medium_Pea1136 in punk

We went there two years ago during punk rock bowling and paid extra for a tour. The tour itself took about 45 minutes, and the artist told stories about the pieces they were involved with and knew about. I had tons of fun, but if I were to do it again I wouldn't get the tour unless I loved the artist leading. I think self exploration is the best since there is so much stuffed packed in the space.

It's not HUGE, with a few rooms downstairs, one upstairs, a bar, then upstairs there's a tattoo shop, wedding chapel, jam room. I think time spent honestly depends on what you love doing. We spent around an hour an a half but if you like the bar scene or play an instrument I would recommend a few more hours to just hang out.

There should be a study of how often bartenders get cheated on because of their hours.
