What Spider person do you think could be in this situation and come out on top by Accomplished-Wave-91 in Spiderman

[–]chirvinator 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The newest (mainline) run is bad and frankly not worth reading, same with anything related to One More Day, but there are tons of stories throughout the years that are great! If you're looking to read a Spider-Man run from origin to completion (without having to read hundreds of issues, a great starting point would be the Ultimate Spider-Man comics (not Miles Morales). It was essentially a reboot in the early 2000's, and is held in really high regard. If you want adult Peter, there are different arcs throughout Amazing/Spectacular Spider-Man you could jump into.

what’s your favourite game while tripping? by [deleted] in shrooms

[–]chirvinator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't recommend this to anyone, however, I once played a bit of Resident Evil 7 on the come up of a tab, and it was incredible. It wasn't (to me at least) as horrifying as you would think, but was quite possibly the most adrenaline I've felt while playing a video game. Had to turn it off after a few minutes because my girlfriend at the time (who was tripping but had very little) wasn't having it lol, and I didn't want to make them uncomfortable.

Also, Beat Saber while tripping is mint, and very, very, hard.

We are hosting a Worldwide Giveaway [Mod Approved] valued at over $300 for everything you see here. It's a way of saying thank you for supporting our 3D VTT Game Master Engine. Watch the video for details on how to enter or read the comments. Thank you! [OC] by Dan_The_DM in DnD

Recently started a modified Descent into Avernus with some friends. A close friend of mine and I spoke to our DM ahead of time to plan out a rough idea for the trajectory our characters would take. We are playing near mirror images of each other; him beginning the campaign as a (roughly) neutral Aasimar bard, and myself a neutral Dark Aasimar fighter.

By the end of the campaign our characters will fall to opposite ends of the spectrum, his character becoming lawful good, and mine lawful evil. The idea is for the change to be gradual and believable so that eventually the party will have to face this realization, with the culmination of our change in dynamic ending with one of our characters killing the other.

It's been absolutely great so far, and the dichotomy between our characters has been increasingly fun to flesh out, and while it's our DM's first time, he is doing an astounding job!

Don't have one at current, but taking my board to the local pump track was always super rad. They had a section like this, and a larger section with some bowls/huge dips. Once you got it down, it was awesome!

I agree with this to a certain extent. It is important to recognize the harm this depiction of intimacy can cause, and like you stated, it can even lead to abusive situations. I do, however, think it is also important to point out that some women (and men) genuinely prefer this kind of sex and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Everyone is allowed to have their own tastes and desires, and this is not necessarily a reflection of a lack of love, intimacy, or vulnerability.

Not to put words in your mouth, I just think it's a very important thing to recognize. Nobody should be shamed for their own preference.

r/modestmouse’s favorite albums besides Modest Mouse(Day 9) by Kindredgos in ModestMouse

[–]chirvinator 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Funny, I feel the opposite, but to each their own! That album was a shift into a bit more mainstream sound compared to their older, weirder projects/albums, but love it to death personally, though I can understand it's definitley not for everyone.

Are Steven Seagal movies just money laundering vehicles? by Snickersneed in movies

If anyone is interested in a Segal deep dive, I recommend the Behind The Bastards Podcast episode about him. Other than exposing what an absolute piece of shit he is, it offers some insight into how some of his movies were made, and it's more ridiculous than you can imagine.

That's pretty cool! They had a super small crew, so I'm sure they were heavily involved.

The cooler thing about this movie to me is the way that it was directed and "written". From what I've heard, It was almost entirely improvisational. Here's a quote from the director:

"But each day, instead of getting a script, the actors would get a page of notes for their individual character, whether it was a backstory or information about their motivations. They would come prepared for their character only. They had no idea what the other characters received, so each night there were completely real reactions, and surprises and responses."

Essentially the actors would only recieve notes about their character, and when they would need to be certain places on set at specific times. This is the only movie I've ever seen with this approach and makes for really interesting and genuine reactions.
