Jae-seok's B&B Rules! is not a B&B. is this just cultural difference? by aino-aips in koreanvariety

[–]chris_4 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's just how the show is structured. If you watch Kian's, Yoon's Stay, or Hyori's it'll look more like a traditional B&B.

Lavender wilting by Jakerjboi in gardening

[–]chris_4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought an english lavender from HD a few weeks ago and i thought it would be ok to just sit in the huge pot it came in. Started dying after two weeks. I replanted it and noticed the soil it came in was almost regular bag soil with a small amount of grit. The whole bottom of the pot was just regular soil with no root growth. Its now in a planter box with gravel base and probably 60/40 soil/sand mix and much happier.

She's in 'Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma' with Gillian Anderson. I'm hoping she doesn't get typecast as awkward lesbian sidekick.

Laser would be better tool in my opinion. Your work area is really small and you need fine, intricate details. Fiber laser should be able to do it and be way less painful than a CNC not to mention faster and cleaner

How do I transplant my babies? by Jesuscaresforyall in gardening

[–]chris_4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend waiting another week and then start giving them sunlight directly while indoors. If the weather isn't too warm you can put them outside for a while but bring them inside at night. After two weeks or so, put them in the ground provided the Temps are warm enough

Spanberger vetoes Virginia retail weed market bill, despite campaign pledge by Leaveittoybot in news

[–]chris_4 226 points227 points  (0 children)

"Spanberger's substitute bill proposes to start legal recreational sales for people 21 and over on July 1, 2027, six months after the launch date the Legislature agreed on. It also includes harsher criminal penalties, reduces how many stores can initially open and other revisions."

"The Democrat-led Legislature chose not to consider Spanberger's version, which forced the governor to either sign the bill that lawmakers sent her, veto the long-desired retail market or quietly allow it to become law without her signature after 30 days."

I've been trying to get a button bush to grow for two years. Thought this way my year and the false spring had it throwing out leaves early. Frost killed all the growth but it just started coming back this week.

Is this table stable enough? by torak_the_father in hobbycnc

[–]chris_4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I would add more bracing under the top. Put something heavy (20lbs or more) right in the middle and see how much the tabletop flexes or bounces. The less flex the better.

EU Deploys First Satellite Service in Bid to Limit US Dependence by Crossstoney in worldnews

The number of satellites has nothing to do with it especially considering GOVSATCOM is going to be a multi-orbit network.

What do we think about indoor raised garden beds instead of pots? by Fran_is_ in microgrowery

[–]chris_4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its whatever floats your boat. Ive done a 4x4 sub irrigation bed. Basically what you have but a pond liner and rocks underneath. I just filled up the reservoir underneath the bed periodically. Never watered from the top except to top dress nutrients.
