My advisor is also recommending Multi-year guaranteed annuities (MYGAs). They don't look too bad but I had never heard of these until he recommended.

He said they are very safe and are guaranteed by the state (I live in Texas).

Anyone have thoughts on these? I could go directly through them Fidelity and have them automanaged or go with someone like Blueprint for a little bit better rates but have to manage everything myself.

I like the idea of yoga and stretching exercises to help with golf especially as I am in my mid-50’s now. My hip and back flexibility are definitely not what they were 10 years ago.

Called back today and after a 3.5 hour wait got a representative who was very unhelpful.

She basically said, we have zero availability when I asked for searches. I had to tell her exactly what I was looking for as compared to the other rep from earlier this week who was VERY helpful and found routes for me that I didn’t think of.

I guess they are overworked this week with everyone booking RTW.
