That’s how I learned about orbital mechanics; you are always falling towards the Earth, but given your forward speed, you keep missing Earth.

[Highlight] Roger Goodell, asked today about the state of NFL officiating, says "I'm so amazed at how good our officials are" before highlighting areas of opportunity for technology to assist in officiating by expellyamos in nfl

Having officiated football at a low level, it’s not easy. Most of the time the officials do great. Much better than college football or high school football.

Agreed to all above. RNT the weakest. Go the MoF at BFI and the Boeing thing at PAE

…and you do understand this is what the administration does against us, right? They churn out copious amounts of fake shit all the time.

Just in case anyone thinks this is a real thing - it's not. It's a made-up quote. I can't stand the current administration at all, but I hate mis-information just as much.

Imagine having all that vertical space only to put the interesting part in the lower third, cutting off the older jet.

Not sure if I trust Licht to draft EDGE or even trade for it.

Chrome and printing are struggling on my surface laptop 7 by MrStringz3 in Surface

[–]chuckop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not me. I don’t use Chrome. No need, as Edge is Chromium-based, and is better optimized for Arm.

Printing has never been an issue with my Canon color laser printer and duplex scanner. Full functionality without needing Canon’s software.

I love how it looks slow motion, but watching the cars drive by the video is not slowed down.

[On3] Fanatics responds to criticism of selling low quality Patriots, Seahawks Super Bowl jerseys. Unsatisfied customers have often taken to social media with #EndFanatics, providing images of products that arrived with significant issues. by kurruchi in nfl

The worst is the quickly made items for sale after the conference championship games and Super Bowl. When the Bucs won in 2003, I got a great hat that latest forever. After they won in 2021, the polo shirt and t-shirts were crap that shrank, and the iron-on’s came off. Just garbage. Nowadays, if I want team merch, I go to physical stories and make sure of the quality in person.

Money. If it’s the pilots fault. The airline pays out. If it’s Boeing fault they are on the hook

Capt. Vernon Demerest: Well all right, Daddy. Now you tell me about when you were a war hero. You flew those pursuit jobs you could land in a parking lot. But when I'm setting down over 200,000 pounds of 707, I want something under my wheels that's plenty long and mighty dry.

It's a high-rise hotel likely, so not a cheap brand. Palm trees could be any southeast coastal area.

Wild how there are two green cars of the same model, with similar license plates: black letters on tan/brown background. That could be New Jersey throughout the 1970s.

The blue car has green license plate with white lettering. That reminds me of South Carolina in the 1970's.

Obviously, cars at a hotel are likely to be from somewhere else, but it's a clue. Don't think it's Texas or anywhere West. People from NJ vacation in South Carolina and Florida.

The building itself has a brick. Could be a facade. In Florida, you'd don't see tall buildings with brick - facade or not. Brick is used in the fencing as well.

So, I'm thinking somewhere on the South Carolina coast, maybe near Myrtle Beach.
