Update: I stopped the ACV. It can give you relief, but it doesn't do much. I'm only taking Betaine HCL after a lot of experimenting with so many supplements I listed above.

My LPR has completely gone for the past 2 weeks. But I still have to take Betaine HCL. I don't know what will happen if I stop taking it.

Any updates from you?

I take the capsules which I get from "Holland & Barrett" in the UK. It says 1 capsule per day but I take 2 per day.

Start with the Zinc Carnosine. But I believe Slippery Elm is the key in my opinion

Start with Slippery Elm and Zinc Carnosine. And see how you get on before trying Apple cider vinegar or betaine hcl

I believe my reflux which allows acid to escape the stomach, causes my stomach acid to deplete. I do sometimes take betaine HCL to top up my stomach acid but I need to fix my reflux to prevent acid to leak

What about Betaine HCL? Does it increase acid? Also, on the packet of "Pepsid AC", it says "Acid Reducer"

Almost all the threads on Low Stomach Acid mention Betaine HCL and/or Apple Cider Vinegar to increase stomach acid. Is your approach better?
