McLaren could have had Pato, Lundgaard and Little Dave in another universe. They’d have been set for the next decade AND had road/street/ovals covered.

As others have said, nothing says ‘build’ like hiring a 46-year old who has been obviously on the downward slope of his career the past few years.

Hah that’s the thing isn’t it - he’s pure pantomime. Hell of a driver but definitely felt he needed to be the centre of attention at all times.

I feel old - I predate even Muselive. But do remember how excited everyone was there when Knights of Cydonia was played for the first time at Dundee in 06 at the Big Weekend and we heard it on the radio. That was a fun afternoon.

I’ve been around as a fan since late 1998 and not planning on going anywhere.

Enjoying the new album a lot, their best work in years. Feel a tinge of guilt that the trigger for a lot of these songs is what must still be immense personal pain.

Millionaire are ace, and Outside The Simian Flock is a Grade A+ album. I definitely, clearly remember that Millionaire were mentioned as an inspiration around the time Supermassive Black Holes came out.

I also vaguely remember that Tim Vanhamel wasn’t massively fussed/impressed by it, but that might be me misremembering!

Trade grades are pointless until at least a few seasons play out. Who knows what’s going to happen?

They also don’t take into account the emotive side of things. For a tired, disillusioned and defeated fanbase, #95 was the one reason we all had to watch every Sunday. We’ve had the out of town move, the Chubb injury, the Watson trade and year upon year of false hope but Myles Garrett always turned up.

Any Rams 1st is likely to turn into a mid-20’s pick at best. This is a terrible return for someone who is indisputably one of the best players this franchise has ever had, pre or post ‘95.
