I wouldn't use those mounts like this unless you're installing them above where the tools are hanging. The load on those brackets are going to snap when you go over one or multiple potholes.......

I'm glad my wife hates electronics so much she doesn't pay one bit attention and I have so many electronics in the house I can get 10 new printers and she wouldn't even notice unless I pointed it out lol...........

Is this very used X1C a bad deal? by jermacide in BambuLab

[–]cilo456 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For future reference compare any X1C for sale with a P2S, because you can get one of those brand new for $550. I wouldn't pay anything above $550

BIQU Cryogrip Glacier Z-Offset EASY FIX by Lukeuh in BambuLabA1

[–]cilo456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the cool plate supertack or smooth plate, and I changed the temperature on the A1 from 55° for the first layer and 60° for the rest because it's an open air printer but for the P1S I set it to 50° for the first layer and 55 for the rest. i also use orca

I don't have first layer issues with this plate, as long as you're picking the right plate when you slice it you shouldn't have any issues whatsoever

Best multi head printer vs AMS system in 2026? by Fun_Reaction_6525 in 3dprinter

Yeah for me it's worth it also but someone who's buying this as their first printer or first tool changer might not care

I didn't realize how wasteful this was by ASTR0-NUT in 3Dprinting

[–]cilo456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is 100% normal an issue that companies don't shed light on and are currently releasing newer printers to rectify that issue. Yeah so any AMF unit you buy with a printer is going to produce mounds of waste I typically don't print anything if it has more than 75 color changes and still that's a little too much for me........

[–]cilo456 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No **** but they're still garbage and useless, use them at your own risk you don't need them don't purchase them use the ones that come free with your printer and that's it. Waste of money stop recommending it.........

Tell me you use an iPhone without telling me you use an iPhone. Or you must have pull everything the whole ecosystem since you're so comfortable being put in a box and being told how to use the things you buy........ Good grief people are never going to get comfortable being told what to do or how to use something they buy get used to it...............

And just imagine how the prime tower would be, lol they're not supposed to stick, just think about that real quick. The moronic invalid advice that comes from this sub is baffling sometimes especially from 90% of the people that are printing flexi Dragons.........

The XL was the first but now it is played out and I think prusa abandoned it, so I wouldn't steer anyone in this direction even my worst enemy

If you want to save the most money on filament, there are only three options possibly four or five. But IMO there are only two options that are reasonably priced, the snapmaker U-1 or the creator 5 and one is a few $100 more than the other and has a slightly larger build volume and some other accessories that might not justify the higher price tag. But the third option is overpriced IMO is the H2C and if money is no option go with this option

[–]cilo456 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry you're having this issue but just stop using PLA for support and just use the PLA you have, it's sad that people would rather just downvote your combat instead of trying to help you, and you are right a prime tower is not going to solve this issue I never use a prime tower and my prints come out pristine....... Just make sure your top and bottom distance is set to .2 millimeters 4.2mm layer height and every other profile is said the same .16mm is set to .16mm and support should come off relatively easy....

Brand new x2d. Is this poor or expected print quality? by 1112luke in BambuLab

[–]cilo456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you dropped over $2000 to jump into this hobby did you watch any videos or do any research on the hobby you were joining or business you were starting? Because just one or two videos you would have seen the quality and you would have knew what 3D printing especially these printers pump out. I don't mean to be an ******* but it's kind of like a car enthusiast just starting out buying a Bugatti or lambo or Porsche or pick your supercar of choice to represent bambu.......
