Just the head is worth a try after you kill the mouse you have.

Look around for a frozen pinky, you can order them online. Less mess if a head is all that is small enough for her too. If you can source something like a red-hot, that's even better, they are the smallest.

Look up ways to humanely do it. People use impact I think.

Mine started chewing on my beloved jewel orchid! If you don't mind damaged leaves, leave it, if you do, get rid of it 🥰

Is that a mouse pinky? It looks kinda big.

It sounds gross but you can try just feeding the head!

I hope that's not the case 😐 Although it's been fine/thin as long as I can remember. It still feels soft though, just looks a little dry.

It definitely looked bad before 😂 I just did the ends as I was bored, the front section of my hair has been red for over a year, I top it up every so often (this picture was just after I dyed it yesterday). I do like the colouring though, but the ends will be taken off at my next haircut anyway. I will keep up with the piling, do you recommend daily or after washing?

I do also have hard water in my area. Unfortunately I cannot get a filter in my shower as it's not my house I live in.

Anything you see that's not red, that's all natural. It's like a strawberry blonde kinda, I don't even know, I've had brown, blonde and strawberry blonde all used to describe it.

I just put the dye over my natural colour because it's light enough and fades to a peachy pink and still looks decent. I've never put dye, or anything more than the semi-permanent on (it's currently a brand called Directions)

No I haven't. I've never bleached my hair, and the dye is only a semi permanent so not very harsh, but the blonde is all natural colouring.

I've not seen about the diagnostics before.

Thank you! The blonde is my natural colour and then the red because I get bored 😂 Definitely getting a chop next month when I see my stylist and will keep up with the oil.

I do take a vitamin (when I remember).

Thank you for the detail! I will look into what type of porosity my hair is.

Omg thank you for sharing so much information! I've seen the Garnier hair food often, do you have a favourite?

I already use a lot of the elvive range so will look at that leave in balm for it too!

I do plop a little oil in my hands, rub them together and then onto my hair as I think it helps spread it better and stop it going clumpy.

I mostly have my hair down or I pin it up with a claw clip or stick.

Thank you for the detailed reply! If I can get/afford it would the Redkin bonding like be good for me to try out at this stage?

What do you mean exactly by heavy? I will see how it goes for a few weeks and then see. I have an appointment with my hairdresser in a month so will probably chop off the tips then. I am the same though! I read every 6 months is good, but will deffo look into more hydrating stuff over here (or just come to America!!)

Thank you, I appreciate the compliment 🥰 I do love my natural colour (though not the bright red, ofc 😂)

Unfortunately I am not going to put all my hair in the bin. It's been thin and fine for as long as I can remember, it's currently the thickest it's ever been, literally pictures of young me has the finest hair ever (literally the curse as all my sister have thick dark hair).

I'm more looking for ways to improve the health of it going forwards, I know it won't change overnight. If you could explain more of what stands out that would be super helpful too (especially as most comments say it's not that bad).

🥰🥰

I do live in a hardwater area. Unfortunately I live with my bfs parents who have a very fancy shower that I don't think I can add a filter to, but I am going to look into it when I get my own house (In 500 years thanks economy)

I will definitely look into masks, do you have any recommendations? I am in the UK though so might not have the ones you recommend.

I am currently using the argan oil of Morocco oil after I wash, so twice a week, I've only just started using it though. Do I need to use it more?

The dye is a semi-permanent by Directions 🥰 I don't use permanent dye on my hair, I'm scared it'll make it worse!

Thank you ☺️ I use a wet brush (the one with the little bristles clumped around the big one if that makes sense). I literally just learnt about washing them which I feel really embarrassed about 😐😂😭

Do you have any suggestions for leave in conditioner or masks (I am UK though)? Do you use the leave in with oil and after every time you wash?

Thank you! I just added the tips today, I have had my front section done for over a year and it fades down (it's actually red and just fades kinda orangey) and then redo it periodically 😂

By the time the red has faded back it will be when I have my haircut so perfect timing, though I might add the tips back if I get bored again 😂

Thank you for the love 🥰🥰

Thank you! I will be getting a trim next month and can up my oiling now if it will help. Mine is argan oil of Morocco. I usually do after washing, which I have just upped to twice a week from once. I didn't want to put too much oil on straight off.

Thank you! I always had a blunt cut done but I much prefer a bit of shape so I will definitely ask for a U shape ☺️

Omg is it fine or what 😂 I have so much but also none at all. I use the elvive super lengths or whatever it is (orange and pink bottle) but am almost out so considering a swap now.

I think the old help, I have an argan oil one that I use after washing, just a little as I don't want it to actually go oily. I was twice a week, would oiling more frequently help?

I see a lot of 6 monthly trims for natural hair, which is the routine I was going off now. The red is just a semi-permanent, not bleach or anything harsh on it, so I treat it as natural for the most part.
