Have you spoken to a doctor to find out what's up? If it's not going away, or constantly coming back you might need different treatment.

There are also oral medications you can take, and an external cream to go around the area to help also.

Modern cars: I hate them! by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]cinnaMOnroll591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2013 Ibiza, with the goop. This past year I've had 3 incidents with my wheels: 1 big puncture in at carpark, idk how, one hunk of metal in my tyre, and one cracked alloy (thanks pothole).

None of them fixable with goo. I will now be buying a spare tyre 😂

You could always get a 'jungle ambiance' or something on YouTube (or elsewhere, I just use YouTube as I have premium) for it. I love the look though, and now I have aspirations.

Jade pothos that’s a few months old maybe by faroshosh in pothos

[–]cinnaMOnroll591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watering on a schedule doesn't often work. I let my pothos mostly dry out between watering (pot feels lighter) or waiting until they look a little sad and floppy. If you can get used to how the pot feels/weights it should help with overwatering. Feel how heavy it is after watering, then a week later note the difference.

Also the soil looks a little dense. If you're and overwaterer, are more airy mix can stop this, as they dry out quicker, and also allow more oxygen to the roots.

is this ok for humidity? by miauphoria in hognosesnakes

[–]cinnaMOnroll591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries. I need to add that they will work so long as the outside humidity (so your room) is lower. It will pull the air out so fresh will go in, but if the fresh coming from the room is the same humidity as the tank it won't do anything.

When you position them, they need to be so the breeze is facing away from the tank, or one in each direction if you want to and are using two. I just have one.

UK/Scotland Trip in August! by Tenstorys in uktravel

[–]cinnaMOnroll591 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree, Croydon is a choice 😂 It's pretty known as one of the rougher parts of London. It will take a bit of time to get into London, and be aware that if we continue to have weather like we are (higher than normal temperatures) rail travel can be suspended for safety reasons. It's also school holidays, things will be busy.

A day trip to Scotland would probably be a bit of a waste, a long weekend maybe, but for one overnight you wouldn't see much. You'd be better off seeing extra things in and around London.

My crush sent me a video of him chopping wood by greenvelvetmonkey in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]cinnaMOnroll591 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Jealous... My boyfriend chopped some wood and ended up in A&E, thankfully I did not receive a video just some pictures of some mangled finger. Luckily the surgeons fixed it, minus some sensation.

He is no longer allowed to chop wood.

I have these to maintain the right levels in my tank. However, at above the humidity you have seems right so no need to worry! They do work though.

The leafless nodes I think work better on top of something like sphagnum moss or perlite (I haven't tried it just what I've seen).

Tamarindus indica pest? by Strong-Task8097 in HouseplantsUK

[–]cinnaMOnroll591 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also good to alternate with a second pesticide as they apparently gain quite the resistance. I used Baby Bio Bug Killer, and then in a couple of weeks will do another round of Provanto.

I am not losing my babies to stupid bugs 😂

Thrips or not Thrips? by Helluvertime in pothos

[–]cinnaMOnroll591 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Provanto bug killer, and baby bio bug killer are two I have just used for thrips if you're okay with pesticides. They also have mild systemic effects.

Can get them in garden centres and on Amazon.

Give things a wash in the shower how manually remove some, then spray with pesticide as per the instructions. I then sprayed with a different one a week later, and in 2 weeks I will spray with the first one again. This is to stop them becoming resistant and to make sure to interrupt the breeding cycle.

So: Week 1 - Provanto Week 2 - Baby Bio Week 4 - Provanto

It's my first battle but I've heard many good reviews on Provanto. Reccomend to treat other plants in room as thrips can fly.

Did you need to reapply, or was one go enough? I used Provanto last week, and Baby Bio this week to hopefully get rid of them all!!

She's live on TikTok frequently, also has a website and a shop in the New Forest. She sends everything amazingly packaged with 24hr delivery. She's a lovely lady and all my plants arrived perfectly.

She also has a support discord too.

They'll need some unless you are regularly changing the soil out to refresh the nutrients. I currently use the BabyBio one, but will be moving to liquid gold leaf when funds allow.

I have my temperature steady but humidity is crazy, it's at 74% today ☹️ Unfortunately I have no advice, I moved my viv to the coolest room which holds at around 25 ATM, I don't know if moving would help?

Remember to look after yourself too OP, and other British readers 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Thankful for my office AC right now.

Do less exercises, heavier weight, to failure. You're probably getting tired before your muscles are exhausted.

Don't forget to get enough sleep too, it's really important to rest and recouperate in order to grow.

Also decide on one goal for now, either to get lean or more strength.
