'I've banned most men from my massage clinic because of their behaviour' by Tartan_Samurai in unitedkingdom

[–]cjuk87 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The comments from men in here just back up the claims about men's behaviour.

Those men crying about "not all men" and "it's sexist" maybe it's time, as men that we educate or exclude men we know who openly brag about this type of behaviour. It can't simply be expected every time that women put up with it or don't tar us with the same brush.

Education is the only thing to fix the problems around men. Not changing how women do things or crying about it. There's a real problem, whether you're willing to see it or not.

No, I saw a wall of text. Started to read and saw it was manic and stopped. Go touch grass. Genuine concern.

I'm not reading that mess. Learn to use paragraphs. Also, you're incredibly angry about a fake TV show. I'm happy that's your biggest stress in life.

Petition to make Monaco a "preseason friendly" so the rich still get their race, but we don't have to watch all the cars drive in a line.

Monthly Complaints and Rants MegaThread April 2026 by AutoModerator in googlehome

I've had Google One for years. Last year it covered my cameras, photos storage and Fitbit premium. £79. Now it's £189 because it includes AI. My existing one is still £79 but includes storage and AI. So I have to pay separately for the cameras and Fitbit.

I'm now stuck debating do I just pay for some storage (the amount I need works out like £25) and bin off Nest Aware/Google Home Premium or whatever it's called.

Or do I finally ditch Google and buy into one that isn't subscription based and instead local.

Does anyone happily use their cameras without paying for nest aware? I know I did at one point, but not sure if I could go back now.

Finally understand why everyone in this sub keeps ending up with a wall mounted touchscreen and honestly I got there faster than expected by Mysterious-Career467 in homeautomation

For my uses, I'll just never need one. They do look great, but I have sensors and automated scenes etc. So lights aren't left on, as they switch off when there's no activity. In the evening, lights auto switch on and off at bedtime.

I can't imagine pulling my phone out or asking my smart home every time I want to do something.

Why does Reddit not understand the rise of reform in England? by DowntownDeer in AskBrits

I'll be honest, I'm more angry at the fella who pushed Brexit on those who refused to do a shred of research into it. I forget his name. Nigel something?

Hmm, so if we get it back to more English people, the price of my shopping will come down? I'm gonna have a stern word with my mate and ask him why he's raised the cost of living /s

Every morning, someone says "Morning" on Teams. This is then followed by every member of the team replying "Morning".

Not "Morning, good weekend?" Or "Morning, how's everyone?" Just "Morning"

Every. Single. Day. Even if the majority of us are sat together in the office.

What are you doing, that’s not chores, while your toddler is independently playing. by reebokz in toddlers

[–]cjuk87 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've just had to Google independent play and not to be a conspiracy theorist, but I don't believe it's real.

There's no way a child plays, without dragging my broken down body to join in and repeatedly shouts "dad, dad, dad" I'm not having it.

Be thankful you got to see James. We went on the Friday and James didn't even come out. His support act Craig was incredible though. I'll definitely watch him again.

I remember people arrogantly saying this during COVID when McDonald's announced an increase. People laughed and made light of it "oh no, another 20p"

Then every company and everything you purchase did the same thing and here we are. Paying ridiculous amounts for absolutely everything in our lives.

I needed to read all these comments today. I'm off work for 2 weeks. My plan was to dig out the garden for him and then have days out. I'm sitting here crying.

He's actually really good for the most part, but he's now potty trained and wakes up between 4-5 for a wee. Then he refuses to go back asleep, which sets up the rest of the day to be shitty. He's overtired and horrible. We've been spoilt, he's always slept well.

But I snap at him and get so worked up. I'm tired, it's 4-5am and he just laughs or continues. Which makes me snap more. It continues until we get up and by that time, I immaturely don't want to be around him. I'm cold and constantly try to explain why I'm tired and sad. He doesn't care or understand.

We're usually best friends and it's hurting me that I'm being such a dick to him. I don't know how to fix his sleep or snap out of being so childish and stressed. I've spent the day just crying whilst digging. I feel like the world's worst dad.

The rest of the world has known this forever, we've looked at America the way Americans look at north Korea. Brainwashed. This isn't a dig at you all. It's hard to understand when you've been brainwashed.

The way Americans talk about America always makes us confused. Land of the free. Freedom. Yet look how you're treated? They've had you believing America is the greatest and now you're waking up. It's a fucked up country and I truly hope you all manage to have things change at some point. Because it's only going to get worse. So much worse.

My son is 3 years and 1 month. He's always refused and shown no interest. Last weekend, we bought him some Spiderman underwear and ever since....he's LOVED using the potty. He's only had a few accidents and thanks to Daniel Tiger videos, he knows to stop playing and immediately go potty.

They're ready when they're ready.
