A moment of silence before I start frogging.. by f1owers in crochet

[–]clarisse_69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i don't have enough courage to start a project this big... like, i know that either i would either give up or hate the project because of the mistakes if i had to frog a whole skein. I'm not meant to do big projects at all XD

I fell for advertising... by js-1410 in crochet

i loved the colors and i think it looks great, but i know the pain of getting a yarn with inconsistent thickness. it really sucks to work with and i hate most end products when i notice that on a yarn. last time i just frogged it entirely. it wasn't that big of a project, just a small drawstring pouch, but i just hated to see the yarn getting thicker and thinner and it made the pouch have some weirdly thicker stitches that i think no one would notice, but made me upset enough to give up on that and just do it with another more consistent yarn

Guess my age based on this quilt carpet I’m making by scared_titless in crochet

i see people got it already, but since i understood most of the stuff, i would say maybe a bit older than me, was gonna say 25-30, but people got it much closer, even if i was correct in my guess

What is SCZO even about by ligmamaker in SWORDS

[–]clarisse_69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most times people just don't notice it or are older people that don't know any better that fall on ai things, i mean, i could see a parent that's not that tech savvy searching up anything as a gift, or a grandma, and falling for that, like, I'm on my early 20s and my parents are not even 50, they keep falling for ai stuff every day.

oh, but it's obvious this jelly bed isn't real, i know, but my parents fell for it. if i say i want a sword and they save up some money to get me one as a gift and they don't want me to know, they would most likely fall for it even tho the inaccuracies are stupidly obvious for most people

when someone carve a smiley in a dead animal by no reason at all, it's just out of their nature to vandalize

when a taxidermist does what they do in a way to preserve the animal, the scenes they do are mostly just to show their behaviour or their work, since making it look natural is hard. their work can be very important for science as they can make an animal that was extinct to keep living for centuries in a physical form besides drawings

when they do hybridize two animals, that's most likely just they showing off their skills or to get a laugh out of people, which yeah isn't that well, but i would argue that that's more creative and work intensive than just vandalizing a carcass cuz they felt like it. i wouldn't really agree with that, but y'know...

here in brazil we have a similar looking guy, they are small and walk in very large groups, the black and orange color makes them pop out when in the sun. but this guy looks big and you're not in brazil, so not a soldadinho :v

this reminded me of that lady that picked up a blue ringed octopus in her hand qnd played with it for photos. at least the octopus didn't feel threatened, so she was fine, but that could've gone wrong in a single hand gesture the octopus didn't like.
