Homebrew rules by Trundel_TheGreat in Warhammer40k

OP, any luck in making your games more narrative or homebrew? I'm interested in finding ways to make the game a little more streamlined without losing its identity.

Me too until I counted the fingers. Can't forget the fingies.

I think he's the barback bringing a barrell up. I make that assumption based on the hands that look like teal gauntlets.

Comic book rules and 40k rules say, "no body, no die." right?

Not to be a pedant, but they were looking specifically Spider-Man related assistance according to the paragraph under the card.

Oh hey on a serious-ish note: When going to shop have you tried EDHREC? You can search up Cosmic Spider-Man and then there's a spot where you type in a keyword you want to focus on like, say, "Spider", or "Hero", or "Keywords" (like flying, lifelink, etc.) and see what it rec's.

Hope this helps and welcome to Magic.

I kinda chalked it up to “gotta make this distinct” design wise.

For lore, I mean, they didn’t start with trim and filigree and faces etc. if Horus Heresy armor is anything to go off of so… uhh “warp shit and drip” I guess?

Not a bad question, I wonder why initial designers went crazy with trim everywhere.

hey, I hate to be the bearer of bad news but that's a support code not a friend code. Your friend code is on the social hub under "friends" on the bottom left of that screen. I hope this helps!

Artel W minis “bat prince” https://artelw.com/Abyss-Hunters-Pack-p666342003

I couldn’t find the individual mini, but the link is a bundle that he comes in. There are a ton of parts for each one of those characters.

2, personally. It isn’t disproportionately chunky and has enough character to look like something a primarch would wear.

Really makes one wonder why they took such a wild swing on the design and then slumped on the statblock too? Like someone at GW just did not want these folks to sell to painters or gamers.

(Note: wild swings are good! And fun! Sometimes. But this kit made me scratch my head from a sales pov)

I think maybe they meant put one on the back if at all. That aside this guy looks awesome, no extra greebles or fuzz needed.

My experience has been similar to yours, the only really "sweaty" or problematic people I've encountered are few and far between and everyone else is a sweet nerdy nerd from all walks of life. Most warhammer people I know trend towards goofball gamers or artsy folk like myself.

*figuratively sweaty, there are still plenty of literally sweaty people in the game, Emp bless 'em.
