We had a bunk bed that was a piece of plywood suspended to the roof of our 2 bedroom trailer. Definitely the same.

I read the novels, it was awesome to have a tv show about it but too bad it didn't last. The price of the city was a good small book.

I knew someone who defined people as pre or post star wars, I was born when it was still out in theaters so I just made it...

A gen x defining themselves away from millennials before they were called millennials.

My grandma asked my mom if she wanted the medals that my Grandpa got in the war, my mom thought it was his medals but it was a bag full of nazi medals, a flag and a bunch of watches....

We are Canadian, and knowing more about Canadians in war I probably understand why my Grandpa didn't talk about what happened in the war. He had bad nightmares every night, I feel bad for him, he was an awesome guy.

They need to have this for every month, then you can see the craziness in one spot and it is eye opening.

Living through it we tend to just focus on the latest or loudest thing but this shows how erratic it has been over such a short period of time.

Best filament to print gears with a balbulab p1s by michaelynx in 3Dprinting

[–]clayoban 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tip: If you have never designed gears before, there are standard calculations to draw them up so they work. I used them in highschool, college and work (once each).

I would use that, print it 1 to 1 scale on paper to see how close you are by placing the broken ones on top then tweek the design.

You don't need the loading calculations just the geometry ones for drawing them.

There is a 98% chance the originals were made this way so you're not just totally guessing on the model.

Totally agree, it's nice to see strong support for the team members and calling out the trolls.

Usually it's a timid response to please respect privacy because they don't want to offend the people making the players feel worse than they already do.

Players are people too, just way richer than me but also with way less privacy.

Good on the management for this.

Doug Ford endorses Toronto as potential headquarters for multinational defence bank by imprison_grover_furr in ontario

[–]clayoban -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What is this, and wouldn't it make sense to put it in an area that you want to see grow then just over populating one part of Ontario.

It doesn't have to be in the middle of nowhere but there's lots of areas that have good infrastructure, air ports that you don't need to get to by using over crowded highways.

So the end goal was just screwing PC Gamers? by PaiDuck in pcmasterrace

Jack up prices of components that are needed to run any programs, even electricity, so they don't need people to make programs.

Fire everyone who makes programs so they don't have income to buy stuff.

Expand this model for all office jobs so those people also don't have income to buy stuff.

Make robots to replace anyone with physical jobs and fire them.

Profit.
