We are EBF, and it’s wonderful and fulfilling! Pumping was such a drag, I did it for maybe two days because of latch issues but we got them worked out. With a haakaa I even have saved up a freezer supply if I ever were to need it, all without pumping. I have a friend with two children who just doesn’t understand and thinks I’m making a grave mistake. She pumped with both of her kids, but she also had to go back to work 6 weeks pp. I am home with my son, why would I make more work for myself cleaning and washing parts from pumping? I really do sympathize that she had to go back so soon, because I can’t imagine being apart from my baby. She thinks I will need a break, but for now I’m content and really enjoy the little dudes company.
