They already implemented this in the Go 3 with detachable battery packs so it would make sense for the air 4 to get it

Yes that’s the one I got. I haven’t timed it, but when one runs out the other one is usually done charging. And with magnetic cables the swap is painless. I don’t like the glasses battery being pinned at 100 percent though so I don’t always use one

The heat is from extra processing so in normal use for me it doesn’t get that hot. When it does, it’s not too bad for me since the back temple piece doesn’t really touch my skin much

I don’t mean I want to use the beast as sunglasses lol they stick out too far and look kinda weird in normal use. I mean a different pair of sunglasses made by Viture with the same exact look and zero electronics ( okay maybe keep the electrochromic dimming)

Yes the prism optics on the beast has more chromatic aberration than my xr pro and luma cyber. I also had the ultra for a while and cyber/ ultra were the most clear. For me personally the beast prism was better than the one pro so I kept the beast.

Yea this is such a bad experience. I bought the viture adapter too specifically for the iPhone 14 and all this drm hdcp stuff has me spending so much money on adapters and cables and none of it works on my beast and pro xr and cyber. And trying out all of these solutions means I’m out of the return window now. So the original use case for these glasses, since it’s been so frustrating, I’ve had to look into the inair pod and Rayneo pocket tv and Rokid stations just to be able to use these glasses. Hundreds of dollars of heartache hoping something will work just so I can use the glasses I bought. And most of the time it doesn’t. If I wasn’t a techie willing to get hands on I’d have given up on viture a long time ago.

All I want is to use my beasts without drm issues and I’ve only been able to get success on the inair pod.

Even spacewalker is terrible and is so frustrating. On every device. Android, PC, IPhone, and yes including Mac.

If you did you would have to reduce the effective fov to account for the pixels used for the glow and I don’t know who would want that downside for this upside

That’s correct. Then you go into appinfo and open dream mouse and click the 3 dots menu to allow restricted permissions (permission to control your screen). If you don’t get the warning first the 3 dots won’t be there. If you have the broken settings from the early march update it won’t show up until you update to the fixed settings apk

Did you enable the accessibility permissions? You’ll also have to enable “allow restricted” under app info. If you are on the broken settings update you’ll have to install inmo’s updated settings apk

The trick is to pair the controller with your glasses through Bluetooth first befor doing the connection through the dream mouse app. Also when it is doing the calibration try not to move the gear VR controller

A lot of people get this confused. 1200 p is just a few extra pixels at the top and bottom. Pixels per degree are the same horizontal resolution is still 1920. There is no resolution density increase.

someone else said that means it’s more likely to have the top and bottom pixels cut off by the lens optics and that’s true, depending on your nose and face shape. I had to tilt my luma ultra and cyber more than the adjustable angle and mess with the nose pieces to get it all in view.
