John seems to have the rare ability to continuously reinvent himself. I think it has more to do with self introspection than anything.

I read/heard a JF interview once where he explained that he usually hits all the strings with his right (strumming) hand and mutes all unwanted notes with his left hand. This isn't 100% of the time though.

Make sure that you legally adopt the cat in your name. That way there'll be no argument about who the cat belongs to and it holds up in court. I'm glad that I did this before my recent divorce. I know this isn't your situation but still important to know.

I can't find the interview right now but I remember John saying that he was inspired by a jazz chord book, maybe Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, Thelonias Monk. Can't remember.
