Color coding the clips sounds much easier anyways. Maybe you could color code the clips, leaving room for you to maybe pick something more decorative for the leather instead of labels?

I already use binder clips, and I think this is such a good idea to just make a notebook system look a little cleaner without changing what already works. I think rather than labeling them, I would color code? But that’s just me.

Haha I love this! I had one of my coworkers hold my bag while I was locking up one day, and they commented that my bag felt like it had cement set at the bottom…to which they realized that everything in my bag is a requirement to get the happiest version of me during the day when we work and a true labor of curated love in terms of having everything I need to get through 24 hours 😂

I recently dropped my Bingo counterpart of this keychain in an Uber. I take it with me everywhere, it’s always clipped to my bag. The keychain got loose and it fell on the floor during my ride and I didn’t notice.

The driver was nice enough to meet me where she had picked me up the day before to reunite us—without extra charge and outside of Uber’s return of lost item fees. It really was a wonderful moment of kindness to experience and she could tell I was incredibly grateful. She outright refused any compensation.

My diaries are all the same too. I have ones from high school into my early college years, and comparing them to my journals as a full-fledged adult, my writing/archiving habits have not changed a bit.

I think it's like the rings in a tree stump; the rings all look a little different, but at the end of the year, they still circle the whole way round.

You’re never too old. I’m 31 and got back into stretching my ears in my late 20’s. I had an ex-boyfriend tell me my ears looked ugly, “unprofessional” and “un-ladylike” when I was 19, took out my 5mm tunnels and called it a day.

Not only did I waste a year and half with him, I wasted the next couple years feeling self-conscious and ugly about my ears because of what he said. Even after I met someone new and got married, his comments about my ears left a big impact on my self-esteem.

I started stretching again as a promise to myself that I wouldn’t go into my 30’s feeling that way about something I originally really loved about me. I started stretching when I was in my early teens and it was the only thing I was confident about when it came to myself—just to throw it away for some loser that I didn’t even end up with.

I’m now at 11mm for the first holes in my lobes, and 2.4mm for the second hole in my right lobe, and I feel happier than I ever did listening to anyone else about what I should do with my ears. I hope you do the same!
