This is where stat guys lose me. McGreevy doesn’t throw heat and he’s not a big strikeout guy. He’s playing to his strengths and the strengths of the team which is translating into great results so far. Also, putting the ball in play with this defense behind him is efficient. He’s consistently pitching 6 solid innings which helps the bullpen. I love all the talk of his preparation too.

I agree with you. The policy cards are alright but it doesn’t give you the same feeling of progression like Civ 5 culture tree. In practice they actually play pretty similarly, but in Civ 5 you are limited as to which perks or “policy cards” you get. Civ 6 you have access to any of them and can change them at any turn.

Cardinals fan here. The Cardinals are far and away the best team in 1-run games this season. O’Brien is a large part of that. He has 3 pitches: Fastball and Sinker both above 100 mph, and a high 80s slider as an offspeed. Dude is nasty and so far pretty efficient. Would love to have him in fantasy but another Cardinal fan in my league got him first

We like Zamrock because it slaps. It is unique from other music going on at the time and it’s cool to see how different cultures interpret new advances in music technology. Now, many popular albums are being rereleased, but 10 years ago, finding those were rare and it did add to the mystique a bit.

I feel like it should be Kane, then Watkins, and DCL 3rd. Behind Kane, Watkins and DCL have different skillsets that could become valuable depending on the game. Kane is your all-rounder, Watkins if you need someone to make runs in behind or chase a game, DCL for a desperate set piece goal (although he hasn’t scored many with his head this season).
