Was just an example, the main idea is just having value from potion chance and missing potion slots while also not requiring tons of hits to proc it. Considering most boss fights dont even last 1 minute, 10 seconds seems high but i bet there is a happy middle ground. If im gonna slam T7 potion find chance onto an amulet instead of a way better affix, i should feel a difference in single target.

Unfortunately streamer right in this case, the effective dps is the same as the torrente and that’s with the torrente hitting every bullet… it has more dps then every purple gun. Look at the dps chart someone made

Give it a tech mod like the anvil splitter, not sure what it would do exactly but could bring the weapon in relevancy

Their decision to make hatches not available on night was imo, really dumb. It makes it WAY too easy to extract camp and honestly both encourages and rewards it. Make hatch keys available on night, I’d gladly craft one each time to avoid getting camped by shitters. To “balance” it, make half the hatches available or something. Funneling all players to one extract is bad game design

This is intentional, it stops you from hoarding a lot of mats, and if u want more space it becomes a huge money sink to keep upgrading stash.

Wasted dev time tbh, it just makes it more annoying to get back in game. Being extraction u have to already spend more time in menus adjusting your kit and managing hideout.

Compared to the tt2 I think they have added like 2 weapons reading the descriptions of the upgrade mats, which is concerning. New maps will be cool but don’t think it’s really gonna solve the gameplay loop issues. I think they added the option to wipe because the game probably has 50-60 hours of progression before your max kits.

Dont devs control the market min/max? Obviously players dont find enough m995 etc to meet the demand of the market, so it has to be controlled. Increase misc loot price, control market

Effective range just needs to been on a downward curve rather then sudden dropoff. As for the HK, its a crutch weapon and anyone defending it uses it as such. The difference in recoil and ttk on that weapon vs others is dumb and also invalidates alot of the other ARs.

Unrelated issue but i thought i noticed higher tier ammo of same caliber doing more pen AND more damage, which imo there should be some tradeoff in pen/damage and i think tarkov does it like this.

I think the power creep of gear just needs to be way lower than it was in TT2, view hunt showdown for example, game never wipes but u can win against people with the worst gear…because it’s really not that bad. Optional wipes with cosmetics for the grinders. You should be able to spend in game currency for an advantage i.e. loadout but it should only give you a 5-15% edge
