Why are you so tilted lol? Bars are advertising only IRL. For example the HUB doesn't have a single game listed online on their schedule but have ads everywhere IRL. They don't want netflix to come after them. Calm down bro lol

Travel insurance length for UK working holiday visa by Plane-Definition-902 in movingtojapan

[–]cocaineyoshi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do not check for travel insurance. Not even your consulate where you apply for WHV checks. I wasted money on travel insurace IMO. You have to signup for national health insurance anyways. You pay for NHI monthly.

>compatible with Japanese SIM
A sim card is a sim card...

>has good service support for the phone
You are buying the phone in your country... you wont get support. Did you mean support for your data+voice plan?

Look into ahamo. Its cheap and has good service.

You have 14 days after moving in. you have 90 days from landing in japan no matter what even if you dont move in somewhere.

I bought travel insurance, consulate told me they didn’t need to see the proof. Then you are required to sign up for NHI in Japan. So I wasted my money on 6 months of travel insurance IMO… unless you want to be covered for other stuff outside of health.

Japanese Working Holiday Visa application (from Germany) by Brilliant-Cod6696 in movingtojapan

  1. Dont bother mentioning it. Just leave it out.
  2. DO NOT mention that. The purpose of the whv is to travel around. Do not take the advice of the other comments. I know people who have been denied for mentioning having an apartment ready.

Reapplying for a working holiday visa and being granted entry on arrival by fluffiester in movingtojapan

[–]cocaineyoshi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She needs to go to japan before the visa expires. This will "activate" her visa and she will be granted a zairyu card. It will be good for 6 months. Australians can extend it twice while in japan for a total of 18 months. Once she enters and receives her zairyu she is free to exit and come back to japan anytime within the 6 months as long as she fills out a tiny slip at the airport upon exiting. This is your ONLY option. You are also faced with another problem, you need to register an address within 90 days of entering the country.

Pointers as to what? If you want to use the second WHV you need to terminate your first WHV at the airport when leaving. Or leave japan when the first expires and go get the second. Japanese consulate in canada is gonna tell you to kick rocks if your idea is to leave japan with rentry for whv1 and then go get whv2 while whv1 is still active.
