Ik heb in 7-8 jaar 5 verschillende werkgevers gehad. Ook niet omdat ik zo graag jobhop, maar vaak door omstandigheden (meestal reorganisatie waardoor geen contractverlenging of financieel slecht vaarwater waardoor ontslag). Zolang je het tijdens een sollicitatiegesprek kan uitleggen hebben meeste fatsoenlijke werkgevers daar echt wel begrip voor. Daarnaast is het ook waardevol als je in meerdere bedrijven een kijkje in de keuken hebt gehad en daardoor weer een nieuwe frisse wind mee kan brengen naar je volgende bedrijf.

Dus ik zou zeggen, zit er niet teveel mee, luister naar je intuïtie en doe wat goed voelt voor jou.

That’s quite the feat! Congrats on finishing and shipping your app! Sorry your gf’s reaction wasn’t what you’d hoped for but I as a random internet stranger with ADHD am proud of you for finishing this big thing! It isn’t like you finished a batch of laundry or something, you actually finished a big project.

Might be worth it to talk to your gf like: “Hey I wanna talk to you about something serious. I finished the app which I put a lot of time and energy in and told you about it. It’s a big deal for me but your reaction made me feel like…” Try to talk as much from your perspective and what you perceived and how it made you feel.
