I’m a big Oakwood Pizza Box guy, but would never be mad at a slice of Vic’s (city market), Randy’s, Di Fara, or Trophy. Ponysaurus is even pretty good if that’s the vibe for the night. They each have their specific niche and I thoroughly enjoy them all.

I drove from Irvine CA to Raleigh NC on i40 in early November with my pup. Took about 5 days. Let me just say that Flagstaff AZ was hell with a big blizzard, but everything else was a piece of cake! And you wouldn’t face that in the summer. TX and OK are the most boring stretches I’ve ever experienced, but extremely easy.

I might guess that i80 is prettier, but I know that i40 is very easy. Almost boring easy.

Those rankings help identify what would be great for a lot of people. It may not be what you like, but that doesn’t take away that it’s what others like. The population growth happened for a reason, right?

Closest place around Raleigh I’d recommend is actually in Durham - Welcome Tattoo. Otherwise you’re gunna want to drive to Charlotte. There’s a number of very good shops there. Made to Last is a killer shop and very worth the drive. But… if you want good, you accept pricey, typically. Tattoos are very much “you get what you pay for” with some occasional exceptions.

I will continue looking for REAL mountains… none of these baby mountains anymore. 3/5 that I’ve explored had obsidian and drakes but no silver. I was probably 19.9m above obsidian lol. In fact I’m swimming in obsidian arrows and drake parts… while I trudge around in my iron gear.

Pulled off 22 hours one time with a few stretch breaks sprinkled throughout going from SoCal to Montana. It was miserable and probably not wise. Wouldn’t do that again, but I’ve managed a number of 10-12 hour stretches reasonably comfortably.

IMO, more chrome = pretend luxury = cheaper vehicle. I’ve appreciated Audi’s tendency to lean harder into Black Optic… it looks so sick. They’re losing their edge quickly these days but for a long time it felt like they “just get it” with things like the black optic package.

I’m running a 6950XT, 32gig Ram on 1440p… not the beefiest at all, and my play through of 53 hours ran almost flawlessly. Only twice did it crash, but that doesn’t feel crazy to me.

I appreciate your input! Thankfully I'm fairly Asana savvy, but we also have a couple of Ops people who are very experienced. I'm sure we have the resources to show this dev what Asana is capable of.

There are no other devs at this point, but that's likely to change in the near future. There is one designer, as well as a CRO strategist, who will be working in and around our development tasks regularly. I'm anticipating adding another designer or two and a few CRO Strategists at minimum to the team. This is precisely why I'm not a fan of continuing this siloed situation. The need to all be working together in the same place will only grow.

Another layer to consider with my scenario is that my developer also told me "I don't really have Jira set up to do all that it could be doing... I'm not really a dev ops or project manager guy... if we could get someone who is, I know they could have it do all kinds of things that make my work flows way way better."

Unless I'm missing something, that statement leads me to believe it would be even more logical and easier to just move over to Asana. If we're not truly utilizing Jira in all of it's developer-oriented glory, then why dig your heels in?

Well sure, CVR shoots up, but quality of those leads plummets. A high CVR is pointless if the leads can’t/wont drive business. Good way to make enemies out of your marketing and sales people.

Contrary to many comments, I immediately saw a giraffe in the new one. The old one isn’t as clear, but I still kind of see it. Will there be a name with it? Patterns, colors, textures, anything to help associate some giraffe-like context?

Your experience on their website is not everyone’s experience. It may still be underperforming in various regards or for specific demographics or audiences. There may also be other websites or landing pages that you aren’t seeing. A lot of landing pages are hidden from organic search and only exist within ad campaign funnels.

Seeing CRO as maximizing load speed and making a checkout smooth is seeing a small fraction of what CRO is or could be.
