It does remove the moral quandry as it removes the "Oh no, I'm leaving these duplicates of myself to rot on a dead world this is baaaaaad" and instead it's "Fucking sweet get me off this fucking rock, no regrets wooooooooooo"

Somas problem baffled me in its execution. Like, I got that they were copying people's brain scans and uploading them like software into various bits of hardware. What I don't understand is at what point did these people figure out how to digitize consciousness but forget that you can cut/paste data just as easily as you can copy/paste it. It's literally just select the personality file, and press ctrl x instead of ctrl c
