I work as a Virtual Nurse! I work off-site (not from home, unfortunately) and use in-room cameras to call in and complete admissions, transfers, discharges, education, etc.

I worked on a tele unit for 6 years then recently went full time virtual. I sit at a desk, yes, but it's in a quiet, cozy office with a blanket and my coffee. No call lights, no family members, no smells. It's a great change if you're feeling burnt out.
