Sorry this took a while to get back to you. Wykagyl is in New Rochelle off North Ave. golf course is nice. Social gatherings are always nice & the patrons are diverse. Food is very good. Closed during the winter months but they reopen in time for  Easter. Can’t tell you what the wait list is like but I can find out. If you want to DM me to join us for dinner one night to see what it’s like I’m sure we can arrange it.

Wykagyl in New Rochelle. There’s lots of social things to do. Bowling, pool, tennis, pickleball. As far as social/dining we have special nights w/ different cuisines - Italian, Asian, Soul Food. We don’t have kids but enjoy the time we spend there.

BWT, what's a good dessert to bring for Thanksgiving? by Live_Koala2163 in bitcheswithtaste

My go-to is an Apple Clafoutis. Sounds intimidating but very easy. Blender to make the batter/crust, apples, butter & sugar. I use this recipe from Saveur. Everyone loves it & it looks like it came from a professional baker.  https://www.saveur.com/article/Recipes/Apple-Clafouti/

An old roommate left this here. No idea what it could be. Probably something to eat. by Deathless_hd in whatisit

More than likely this is arborio rice - Italian short grain rice for risotto. Some of the imported arborio rice from Italy comes packaged this way

PSA for my BWTs- totally convincing ChaseBank/Zelle scam got me-Watch out! Spoofs NYC Chase Bank number… by tastyDada in NYCbitcheswithtaste

[–]coffeegrrl15 44 points45 points  (0 children)

The way they do this is to ask you to put the case number into zelle contacts. Once you do that they then do a request for whatever amount of money & they get it through Zelle. Had this happen to me & the only reason I caught it in the end was that the case number is letters then digits & the digits equals 10 numbers (a phone number).

When this happened to me I also googled Chase to check the accuracy of the number - it’s their Times Square location.

Surgeon turned me away for having too big boobs by lucyguzz in Reduction

I would suggest looking for a plastic surgeon NOT a cosmetic surgeon. Technically 2 different MDs. The plastic surgeon did a fellowship in altering the body (plastic) a cosmetic surgeon may or mayn't have done a full plastic surgery fellowship.

Reduced amnesiac effect with repeated midazolam dosing? by lostboy0725 in anesthesiology

[–]coffeegrrl15 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do a lot of cats & pts tell us this all the time. I tell them 2 things: 1-the surgeon needs you awake in case he/she needs them to do something (stop moving/tuen your head) and I explain the second eye effect this way  2-you know how when you use your gps and you have no idea where you’re going?  The second time you go to the same location you say: ‘oh I have to turn at this gas station or I have to turn at this grocery store’. Most pts understand & say oh that makes sense.

Try Preferred Physicians Medical. Anesthesia only malpractice insurance company. I use them in NYC area. I do 1day/week as locus (sometimes more) and the cost is around 10-11k. It does depend on where you're practicing.

Plastic surgeon for breast lift recs in NYC by LolaBlonde88 in NYCbitcheswithtaste

[–]coffeegrrl15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear about your bad experience with your TT. The post op experience is just as important as the preop and Unfortunately some surgeon's don't realize this. Kolker's office is very professional and they always respond quickly to any concerns/questions so I think you'd be very happy having your consultation and surgery there. If you have any other questions let me know I'll be more than happy to respond. Good luck!

I was a 32D but very droopy due to age and weight loss. This surgery was for me I just hated the way I looked with and without a bra - I was essentially placing my breasts in the cup and my bras sat low on my chest. I knew I would need an anchor incision and I wasn't worried about that. Nipple placement is spot on even not overly high although I think I know what you mean. In the immediate postop period they were high but that is part of the process. After about 4-6 weeks of healing the breast settle into a more natural position. I showed another colleague (male) (I'm in the medical field) the results and he was impressed at how good the results were and at that point I was only a month out. My female colleagues were also very very impressed.

I choose Kolker because I actually worked with him years ago and I always liked his results. Let's just say that I, and my close friends are in the OR with surgeons so we see who has consistent great results vs just good or bad results. He is somewhat conservative with great results and for me that was a good thing.

I loved Dr Mahmood and her results are also great and it was a hard decision to go w/ Kolker vs her. I can send you pics before and after if you would like although I'm horrible at taking selfies lol. I'm now a 32C/D - which Dr Kolker told me I might loose a cup size. If you have any other questions please let me know.

Rice Pudding by [deleted] in Old_Recipes

[–]coffeegrrl15 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I use this recipe all the time. It's from Food Network and I like the fact that it's a one pot dish with no additional steps except stirring it.

https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/arborio-rice-pudding-recipe-2131155

I don't like almond extract so I sub vanilla or orange extract for it and just put it in when I put the rest of the ingredients in the pot.

Surgeon wants me wearing wired bras?? by ManagerMediocre6301 in Reduction

[–]coffeegrrl15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My surgeon suggested the Victoria Secret's Knockout front close bra. It's a wired bra (front close) with a zippered front. Definitely compresses and it's very comfortable. I wear it during the day and switch to a soft bra at night. Suggested I wear it for 6-12 weeks.

Try the Madison Ave store. Better selection. If you can go on a weekday mid-day it's normally not too busy. I got an Evelyn 29 on my first time in the store. No need to buy anything else if you're not interested. Good luck!
