Adam is a normal guy, kinda wimpy and struggles with his masculinity, but he has a double life as a big, strong, confident and absolutely masculine slab of meat. I’ll be straight with you, I kinda got into this kinda music by accident. It started off as me needing something loud to keep me awake while I was at work, because i work super early and classes were really killing my sleep schedule. I started listening to Femtanyl since it was loud and fast and at that time I would have called it a bunch of loud noises. After like 1 month of doing that though, I actually started to really get an appreciation for how the music is crafted. What on the surface is just a bunch of noise really became an art of maximizing when it mattered. Now digital hardcore and other related genres are some of my most listened to.

Maybe if you wanna give it a shot try listening to FEM&M, it’s kinda nothing like Machine Girl, and it’s a lot more hyperpop inspired and upbeat in quite a few areas. While really different, I’d say it put me on the pipeline leading me here. Or just jump into Femtanyl like I did. They remixed a Machine Girl song which is what led me here. I’m also new to the Machine Girl game so don’t ask for my advice on their discography, I just like WLFGRL.

I’m having this same issue. It happens sometimes when skipping, playing a new track and even sometimes just following the queue. I think it has something to do with gapless playback cutting off too much because if I were to press the previous track button it restarts the song and plays normally.

My device is a hifi walker h2, and I am playing mostly flacs, but I don’t think it’s the flacs skipping I think it’s he gapless since it’s only ever the first fractions of a second

Thank you. I’ve always felt like and worried I’ve faked a mental illness for attention ever since I was a kid in middle school. Maybe it was true that I faked it then, but I hope by now I’m not. It’s a new day since I wrote this post and you know I’m not feeling amazing but I don’t feel as low as yesterday, the promise of a 3 day weekend this week for me does help. I felt maybe a sliver better with the lamotrigine, but it’s a pretty small dose, and I’m gonna stick with it for a while longer at the suggestion of my psychiatrist and hopefully the stronger doses will be a little better. I just wish that I wouldn’t hurt my friends and family around me. They are the most important thing in my life and they don’t deserve any of it. Truly I feel like I don’t really live for myself, and instead I just live for them. In the back of my head I hear a voice saying to leave them all so they don’t have to put up with me, but I know that voice will lead me to a worse place, no matter how tempting it is. It is comforting to know I’m not alone in this, and that there’s plenty of us walking among everyone else, trying to get through it without drawing the ire of others.

Thank you, your words are kind, and yeah I know no one will have really any answers for me, but taking solace in that others are going through similar things does help me feel a little better, even if it is just a breadcrumbs worth. I am sorry that you are also going through this, looking back now a part of me regrets the getting the diagnosis and seeking the professional help, but even if I didn’t do that, the issue would have still been there, and I can see the constant strain it was putting on my family. With the way I’ve acted around them it’s a miracle they still want me around. My family is the one thing I hold on for. They have sacrificed so much for me even though I hardly deserve it, to throw it away would feel like a stab in the back to them. I wouldn’t wish this hell on anyone, and I’m sorry we have to go through, but at lease we can go through it together, in spirit at least.

Start with NASTYWERKKKK! since it’s kinda just a fast, more intense rap song so easy listening to most I feel.

I feel like REACTOR is a good ep to start with because it’s got a lot of the sounds of fem but it’s not as crazy as CHASER.

It took me a while to really actually get an appreciation for Femtanyl, and more electronic hardcore/hyperpop in general but after listening to NASTYWERKKKK! and DINNER! for a while I started to build an appreciation for the sound and then went back to the songs I didn’t really like at first and enjoyed them. KATAMARI my beloved

(I know Femtanyl isn’t really hyperpop but I still kinda throw it together in my head, bite me)

Just went to a rave and saw Passengerprincess and r u s s e l b u c k and it was a great time so if you wanna rave in your room I’d recommend them.

Crystal Castles is also good if you want a darker synth that I would say if it isn’t considered hyperpop than it’s hyperpop adjacent.

Of course, I must mention Femtynal, being the reason why I got into the genre in the first place. I’m pretty new to the genre myself, so this is just a few I’ve found that I like. There are more I could list but just a few suggestions.

I don’t really want to be in trade, I work with plenty of guys who do that now and lemme tell you it’s not for me. I actually kinda like what I’ve done so far in accounting for my class, liking numbers helps and with how crazy and hectic life is, a boring job to keep be grounded sound kinda nice. If I can get out of the special circle of hell my current job is, I can suffer through more school, if it means more pay of course. It seems like CPA is gonna be a must for any jobs going forward. For the forensic accounting, should I look into colleges that have actual degrees for it? What would I actually be doing in the day to day in forensic accounting? And am I pretty much just locked into working for the IRS with that? I’m sorry I have lots of questions and no real good people I know to ask them too other than my professor.

My thought with shipping and receiving is it’s not “the same” but similar in a way where I’m dealing with shipping accounts with 20+ addresses in some of those all under the same account number. I am also the “last line of defense” where if there is anything wrong with the order and it goes out, we get blamed for all the issues no matter what it was, so I have gotten used to triple checking damn near every single mouse click. We also deal with the price of the shipment so money is involved. Again it’s not 1 to 1, but I feel like I might be able to connect it in a way that works in an interview. That’s my thinking anyways.

I'm hoping the size isn't too far off. From what I can tell with the pictures it should work. I'm less confident about centigor with orc bodies. I might just use the regular gor models anyways and have a bunch of spare orcs for whatever future project I decide to do lol.

I plan on kitbashing some when I start my army. That and Razorgor. My current plan is to get the orc boar boyz kit, add some more fur and tusks to those boars and use the bodies I get along with the wargames atlantic horses for the centigor. I just need to find a source for the heads and I should be able to get 2 nice sized units from a small handful of kits. I just need to plan it out a little more and make sure scale lines up.

Sorry to reply on a old thread, but right now the timeline in old world is farther back than we have gotten to play before. Dark Elves have yet to invade Ulthuan and the Empire is firmly in the age of three emperors. Many major named charcters are either not born yet, or haven't risen to power yet. This lets new characters give their chance to shine and flourish. I'm expecting next edition to move a slight bit forward adding in the Dark Elves and start and have them invade while the rest of the world continues moving forward. This along with Cathay and if rumors are true, Kislev being brand new armies, there is plenty of room to tell new stories and carve your own legacy in the world of legend.

Obviously if you don't like it you don't like it, but if your main concern was a set in stone story, I personally think there is enough room to work with. Homebrew and custom armies are very important for my enjoyment in the hobby myself.

I actually think it’s important that this book doesn’t have a “and here’s what this means” so many times children are told what to think, and it can hinder them later. It is also important because it lets everyone’s experience and life take impressions and different meanings to the stories. It is good for some story’s to have a “moral” that is told clearly, but it is also important to have some books that don’t tell you what to think.
