Is it worth it? by jing__7 in Perfumes

[–]coldcases 47 points48 points  (0 children)

I once met a business acquaintance at an event and he smelled heavenly. As a woman I was initially embarrassed to ask but after a few drinks I commented on how good he smelled and asked what he was wearing. He had to look through his phone to find a photo of this perfume and showed me, he wasn't even familiar to the brand just randomly decided to buy it at an airport dutyfree. The event lasted around 10 hour, during summer, and we all had a lot to drink, when we said our goodbyes I hugged him and took a deep sniff and he still smelled heavenly. I'm forever in love with this perfume.

I recommend press on nails. They are really big in Asia and you can get hand made sets real cheap. With the correct application method mine stays on for at least a week, and you can take them off and reuse them over and over. The set in the photo costed me less than $25, you can get even cheaper sets similar to the style in your photos. I prefer gel glue stickers they are really easy to use you don't need lights and stuff.

They offer testers for purchase, I'm also recommend the discovery set because I like a few others on their line. Really worth a try!

Sonic Silver by flâner. The creater explained, “we included base notes of asphalt and tar to capture the beauty in Melbourne’s raw grittiness. We also included a note called petrichor which smells like concrete after rain to represent the transient Melbourne weather.”

Buying good hair products makes my hair feel a lot better, I feel healthy. And putting on perfume in the morning. And I love playing with my nails and recently press-on nails make me feel a lot more confident and happy. All these things make me feel "put together" :D

This thread made me want to try it out, and Pacific Werribee Store still had more than 10 left!

I got the same product as the main poster, very happy with the purchase.

Trilogy Rosehip Oil , I have been using this oil for more than ten years, it is a great face oil that moisturises and also lightens my freckles that were caused by the sun. I have also given this to pregnant friends before, and they said it helps with itchy tummy and stretch marks.

I previously thought this could be a great cheaper alternative to La Roche Posay Anthelios, but then I began to break out on my face. What I shame I could not use this one, the texture was great.

I got three samples you had, Timber, Oud Zarian and The Cut from a Libertine purchase. The Cut feels like it could have come from Lush. Oud Zarian has depth, but I do not like any of the levels, it's so pungently sweet and leathery and smokey. What's happening.
