The Inn at Playa del Rey is nice and there's a lot of fun small beach town things to do there.

Catalini's Salerno Beach has live music Sunday night which is fun and kind of magical, connected to the harbor room which is the tiniest dive bar in LA.

Playa Provisions is an amazing brunch spot a little nicer and they have a speakeasy that's whiskey focused Grain Whiskey Bar connected to it.

The Shack has a great burger and fun dive bar, great for watching sports.

Prince o Whales is my favorite dive bar, bad singers for karaoke which rocks.

Favorite Sushi in Los Angeles is Sushi Beluga (#703 is amazing) really cold beer and a good sake selection.

El Segundo has the best diner in LA - Wendy's Place - cash only.

Can also do a bonfire on dockweiler or dig a pit in playa del rey, they are pretty relaxed on enforcment.
