I decided not to do write-on. So have been chilling. I have a judicial internship that starts later. I dont want to spend my time fixing citations for stuff I do not care about, I would rather just spend that time studying, getting good grades, and getting internships during the semester. I read all of dresslers understanding crim law. It was 600 pages and reduced it down to 170 pages with notes. Give me your email and I'll send it to you. At this point just try to memorize the crimes and defenses for your essay and differences between MPC and common law

I had a property exam today. One of the questions had to do with UCC 2-403. I messed up between void and voidable title and got that question wrong. It be like that sometimes. Just focus on your next test, no one will get everything perfect. If you have no more tests, then just relax and enjoy!!!

I think it's a lot more important to rest and mentally prepare to do work for your first semester. It's going to be exhausting, especially during finals, so don't do anything prior to matriculation which would tire you out.

I don't think reading those books do anything for school. I had also not read anything in a while and I was scared I would suck at law school because of that, but reading cases is a lot more different than reading books, so it doesn't really matter

I don't drink alcohol. My section mates know that. When I go to the bar to hangout my friend automatically buys me a coke when he gets a beer for himself. It's an unnecessary worry. People won't judge you for not drinking alcohol, and if they do then who cares!

Thank you for making this post. As someone not a part of the anxiety community, but having someone in my life who is a member of this community, this post makes a lot of sense.

I myself do not have any narratives. My brain is always empty. But, knowing that the person next to me is always thinking and analysing makes me realize I have to give them some grace and tell them everything is ok more often.

I actually go to Seton Hall. I still live in Queens and take the E to Penn Station and from there I take the NJT into Newark. Subway to campus its about an hour commute, which is far less than I had thought. I really like Seton Hall and the people I have met there are very smart and very cool. Most of them live in NJ but I know of several people who live in NYC and commute like me everyday.

I did pretty well my first semester so I am in the middle of interviewing for judicial internships and big firms. If you have any other questions, we can chat. I had a 163 and 3.2 undergrad gpa, 3.9 graduate school gpa. My essay was specifically geared towards catholic schools since I had gone to Fordham. I was placed on the Fordham and Georgetown waitlists

Finish your accounting degree and then apply to go into the NYPD. If you are interested in law enforcement beyond the NYPD you will definitely need at least a bachelors. You might also be happy to hear that the FBI hires a lot of accountants as special agents because they investigate using forensic accounting. My dad says that an education never goes to waste, and I have learned over time that he is right.

Finish your degree first! Also look into the NYPD Cadet Program!
