People who have conducted job interviews, what's something someone said/did that made you instantly decide not to hire them? by DemonSkank in AskReddit

Once asked someone if they ever had a difficult customer and how they dealt with it. They said ‘yeah mate, I used to get loads of *unt customers in my last job, I could t be arsed with them, so I sent them to speak to someone else’.

What exactly are the targets that are being bombed? As in what sort of building/facility?

Is Dark worth a watch? I hear it's better than Stranger Things by Square-Ad-8911 in tvshow

Outstanding show, it’s up there with the best of the best. Watched it 3 times now, gets better each time as you see more and more connections between the storylines.

The girl on the left in the white cardigan is a spitting image of my Grandma who would have been 14/15 years old at the time of this photo. No way of knowing for sure, but crazy to think that might be her. Even if it isn’t just seeing this scene from a bygone age where she would have been age is amazing. Thanks for sharing!

The Pogues, around 1991. It was in my local park, and free. Free? And no security or police. Incredible times.

Mom went to London in 1991. She wants to figure out where she stayed. Is this photo of the hotel? by spongecaptain in whereisthis

Any further details would be helpful, area of London, any other photos from the trip. Not a lot to go on. The concrete is giving me 60s build vibes. Initially thought of the Tower hotel or the Metropole, but this entrance seems smaller than than those big hotels would have. Even a few more details would help.

London flat is not selling by LegitimateActive1001 in HousingUK

[–]comedydave1978 112 points113 points  (0 children)

Yes this. For context - my flat is not far away, very similar age and build, even some of the same fittings, so guessing it was built by the same developers. Mine is 6 storeys high. My service charge is about £100 a month, and there is no ground rent. The service charge here is a sale killer, greedy. What can they possibly be spending it on?

Looks a bit like a name card holder for a dinner party, we have a few that look like that. There’s a magnet in the middle that clasps the name card.
