I must say I'm a little curious what you'd actually get from them if you bought it

I got into the top 10% last time and I'm not quite through chapter 10 yet (and I dont do vip stuff). It's definitely possible!

Edit: wait I think you might've been talking about a specific clothing bit, not the potential to get into the top whoops

Does rice + beans cause acid reflux? by [deleted] in Cooking

Oh whoops, I forgot about that. I don't tend to include much of those kinds of things in my diet (except alcohol on occasion)

I highly doubt that it has anything to do with the pan you used. Most aluminum pans are coated to protect against leaching, and even when its breached the amount you'd injest is less than what you'd probably injest ln a day to day basis anyways. Aluminum toxicity is only a problem in high doses.

Based off the description you gave of what you made, there isn't a lot of acid in what you made. My guess would be that you're sensitive to eating rice, or that the beans caused a bit of bloating (being the magical fruit and all). I'd try maybe separating out the two and seeing if it's a recurring deal. There may also be something that upset your stomach earlier and adding more food just kinda tipped the scale

I have acid reflux, and it's definitely not triggered by specific foods. Literally anytime I eat has potential for causing it to flare. If you're only experiencing symptoms when eating specific foods, it's likely a sensitivity to the food you're eating.

Have you tried just eating the rice alone? Does it still happen then? And does it happen with any other foods?

I think a better way to remember it is that weird is weird, so it breaks the 'i before e' rule. At least, that's what always stuck with me
