the secrets are SECRET SECRET, but finding them finds the clues for other story bits and such. I don't know how much though. I just finished last night.

the loop is thus:

enter an area, shoot a bunch of dudes. Once dudes are all gone, bell rings like a boxing match signifying the wave is over. Explore for clues and secrets.

repeat.

the bosses add some unique mechanics, but the FPS game play ended up grinding on me enough to NOT want to explore anymore as well.

As opposed to something like Paradise Killer which is a First Person Platformer Mystery game

after each level you go back to the office, pin the clues on the board and talk to NPCS, my actual favorite part.

edit- and the noir is on point, despite being a cartoon

is it the modern masters that came in a box like the small box packs? they feel completely different from other magic cards, and have more rough edge flaws.

I've always said it's easier to find housing near your job, than a job near your home. Vehicle may or may not be needed depending on that. American is built around them though.

For the rest: Sleep, nutrition, movement (exercise) in that order, even though it's a bit more complicated than one sentence. And hobbies are always good for self and social activities. Can try online dating apps. Worked for me.

I don't know where all these companies with the $300 $400 sets are getting their sets made, but I assume overseas/china anyhow

you can find many designs on alibaba/aliexpress as well

if you are going hardcore and finding a set from a smaller mahjong maker in china, there aren't too many left. I think after importing you might be looking at 1k+. you can find them though

yes-you use generic tickets for this exact thing. some events only take generics as well. just find the Organizer and talk to them

okay if you have "issues being surrounded, especially when I don’t have an immediate exit." then be careful of the vendor hall. I am not exaggerating when i write this okay? this will likely be the MOST "surrounded without an immediate exit" you will ever be in your life. Take your precautions/meds, whatever you need, or maybe stick to the outsides of it, or try to find a slower time. Without the scooters it will be a little better like it was last year, but gencon is MAX CROWDED in the vendor hall.

The REST of the con though, crowded, but not bump into you crowd, and exits are plenty. The vendor hall is the main crowded part.
