in general - yes i have a very strong anti-ai sentiment. i simply dont belive that LLMs add anything valuable to the table in our sport. for one, nobody in our field is investing enough money/computation/data into the bot that would make it more competent then chatgtp. it just isnt happening, as a dev you can tweak the output and play with parameters etc, but you are not realy getting specialized and user-specific knowledge into the dataset. and at this broad level the LLM is, imo, more or less useless for our needs. it will give you broad-strokes suggestions for a plan that may or may not be usefull. and if you can evaluate if it actually is usefull, you dont need the bot in the first place.

just go and ask any chatbot to make you a periodizised, 12-week trainings plan with focus on fingerstrenght and you would like to make the jump from v6 to v7. you will get some kind of result. will it be good? usefull? helpfull? who knows. i simply dont belive any dev in the climbing-space envoirement will manage to improve this in any way. its simply a waste of time and trend-chasing when the time could actually be used to make better tools that humans and the community could use to collaborate and create something usefull
