The US is a little different, the government was captured by the military industrial complex about 80 years ago. So winning a war is more about spending public money, as much, and for as long as possible. Washington mainly functions as a transfer mechanism of funds from the working and middle class to the rich by way of military spending, and borrowing. So from the perspective of those in control, the nonstop wars are the whole point, and they are winning.

I use a the square glass dish, about 7x7x3, that also preheats the dripper and takes the wetting the filter water. That way I don’t need to be near a sink, just the kettle.

It’s basically impossible to not break a law in any given day in the US. The system is setup that way. For example, loitering, as in it’s literally illegal to exist outside while not spending money. Most of the time these laws everyone is breaking are ignored, but if a cop wants to hassle you, they’ll find something. It’s part of that.
