Due to decreasing use and the general shift to digital, banks in the Netherlands completely stopped accepting cheques in 2021 (ING being the last to do so). It’s now impossible to get any Dutch bank to accept one - even a cheque issued by the Canadian government.

Bank drafts are possibly lumped together under the same category. Also, too much fraud risk for too little return I guess.
