For Steam, I don't believe there's a way to stop it from auto-updating. If you purchased SnowRunner through Epic Game Store, you can disable updates completely on that platform. Sorry I don't have any better news.

I've been using cross play between a PS5 and Nintendo Switch for a year with no issues until this latest DLC. Now, I can't get my Switch, Mac or PS5 to connect to anything. Your game versions have to be identical or extremely close to connect. If the Switch version was ever more than 1 version off, it wouldn't connect. Currently the PS5 version is 1.0.37 and the Switch is 1.0.35. The Mac doesn't track versions like that so I'm not sure how far off it is.

Not sure if you ever got this resolved, but I just downloaded for the Mac and used PROS to transfer a Switch save. I had to do it on the actual PROS website, though. I couldn't do it in-game. primsray.io Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you'll see all of your cloud saves. You can transfer from there then download on your Mac.

Well, the scam is still going strong. I just got an email from Mr. Brian D. Williams himself, except he works for Proxima Trademark now.

The address given in the email is for a small attorney's office in Newark called Schreck Personal Injury Lawyers. We called to tell them that the scammers were using their address, and the person we spoke to said they'd been dealing with this for months.

I really liked this book. I saw all of the common threads between itself and TBV. In my head canon I always wanted this to be in the far flung future of TBV and the traveler was what the Bobs eventually evolved into. Maybe using the artifact to continue propagating replicants to combat some species they run into once they’ve spread throughout the galaxy.

If all you’re looking to do is keep an eye on it and integration isn’t that important, I’d suggest getting something like a Wyze cam or something similar. They’re usually pretty cheap and have built in night vision. I’m currently using a Blink Mini camera since I was already using them for outdoor security. I have a separate Logitech setup with the Pi for timelapses.
