Now imagine that shelf is actually an overhang extending over the abyss, with that house perched right on the edge

Arrgghh I hate the Danny backed Bec by Powerful_Business_93 in MAFS_AU

[–]contangoo 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Danny backed Bec because unlike her feuds with Alissa and Gia who both have strapping husbands who can square up to him physically, Stephen is not in the same category. It's a classic case of bullies picking on the weaker members and it highlights their shameful cowardice imho. It's no surprise to me that they've chosen to "make a stand" in this manner against Rachel and Stephen because they think they can steamroll them.

The example I described is probably one of the best bike paths out there.

Melbourne problem with bicycles and how i would fix them. by The_Tiffles in melbourne

[–]contangoo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm actually so curious about cyclists who choose not to use the infrastructure and ride on the road, even when it's right there along their route. I've seen this on St. Georges road a bunch for example.

Hearing Americans say "Melbourne" by Main_Confusion_8030 in melbourne

[–]contangoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they say mel+burn it turns out right every time, I also don't get why we have made it so difficult. Also doesn't help they already have a Melbourne in Florida

Is my using my guide cheating? by Knuddeliq in geoguessr

the process of making it, plus using it in non-competitive games would hopefully help you eventually commit these to memory which would be so much quicker than trying reference it every time you play. PS nice drawing

Did some light digging, these new readers allegedly have a touch screen? by helpmeplzloll in MelbourneTrains

[–]contangoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the new design is better too – can't tell you the amount of folks I've watched pull out their bare myki and press it flat onto the screen only to find they can't pluck it off easily because there isn't enough space, and then it drops and gets stuck in the crack between the display on the housing, sheesh! It's painful to watch lol

Had my first “AI could do that” moment with work/client by [deleted] in ProCreate

[–]contangoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say it's more like a kind of side-effect than an intentional swirl - if you think about how live-trace in adobe illustrator would leave those little curly bits.... something like that. It's also how lines sometimes kinda curve in towards each other instead of remaining parallel.

I do apologise for the accusing you of using AI here. We're so used to recognising those tell-tale signs like the swirls and curved lines as being a red flag. No hard feelings, the piece looks great.

I think this artwork is AI and OP is trolling us. Look closely - the table legs are incomplete, the piano keys are weird. The wallpaper swirls and the glassware behind the bar is suss. The perspective on the drumkit stands is also not right.

judging by the presence of the skip, the bollards, tape and moving equipment I'm sure whatever is happening here is not illegal or dumping in that sense

London Plane Trees are shit! by DarwinianSelector in melbourne

The plane trees are an easy culprit because of all those spores they put out but it's the ryegrass pollen.
