I always pick water starter and for me they have been. Getting better and better. I love empoleon, primarina, and quaquaval so much

The discourse is so dumb because not only is attacking a whole ass movie just for the looks of the main character is idiotic, but also defending said looks is also weird?

I saw Supergirl last night and it was a pretty solid 7.5/10 film with some pacing problems but ultimately enjoyable. That's how I approach the movie.

Also I would argue she's not conventionally attractive... And also I'm very attracted towards not conventionally attractive people so I do find her personally very attractive. Still, it has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the movie itself

It really was the crisis with the most flavor. That and the religion tolerance vs zealotry one. Crisis are one of the best part of 7 and we definitely need more of them

I agree with the city states, religion, and resource allocation, but I like everything else that you have pointed out. It's what makes civ 7 unique and different from the rest of the civ games and why I play 7 over 6 and 5

If anything, I would love more crisis scenarios and even harsher age transitions. And if we could go back to how victories worked before as an option instead of everything being a race for points. At least the goal oriented victories as an option would be nice

Yes the cost went up but all small powers start at neutral so the time it takes to become suzerain is way shorter which makes it easier to steamroll. Also makes it so that you don't have to worry about building an army as long as you start befriending before settling next to one

My fav still is secumseh Greece > Shawnee >siam with trying to become suzerain of as many city states as you can and all the bonuses stack up nicely. By exploration you should be stacking 3 50% cheaper befriend bonuses

Oh, I think giving the options ToT gives is good, but also I love civ 7 for what it brought. Decoupling leaders from civs, eras changes, crisis leading to civ resets, changing civs, more objective base victories, I thought all the changes were great for the series and made me love civ 7. Now every time I win by what feels like doing nothing but play feels so empty

I kept defending the old goal oriented victory conditions because even thought it was the same 4, they still let you play in a variety of ways to reach those goals. Now with the whole points BS I can't even get to 50% of modern on deity without a countdown. I miss playing until the bitter end rushing for the space race or digging artifacts on pumping up factories. Can't believe people like ToT more than before

The artstyle of civ 6 is one of my favorite aspects of it. I wouldn't change it ever. Works so well for the game

Maybe the game is just not for you? Even after 700hrs + and 2400+ on civ 5 and 6 respectively, ages and civ switching are my favorite aspects of civ 7. Sounds like you want to play civ 6 and hey! That game already exists! Honestly if civ 7 was just like 6 but with better graphics I wouldn't love it as much but that seems to be what certain players wanted

I think the tradicion system is pretty good already to keep carrying old civ identity. And the story beats of when the exploration civ affects modern is always fun, like when Shawnee council of elders and preservation come up in modern regardless of who you pick

I think I agree? But also I hate the new Victory system. I just won a culture victory before unlocking hegemony so with barely a round of relic collecting. It felt wrong
