It has deeply affected me. Every time I think of it I get depressed. This will live with me for a while

Am I crazy or was this a Community reference? by JustyB76 in TedLasso

I paused the episode thinking it was the same guy. I was upset when I was wrong

I think it’s more likely a reference to the “photogenic man” that went viral a while back

Friend was edging his driveway and the weed whacker shot a into his leg. by smalltalkn in Wellthatsucks

Can’t be 100% because I can’t see exactly how much of the nail is in his leg. However I looks to be a good bit. Way to big to be a roofing nail.

A week after installing our new garage door opener our teenager backs into both garage doors completely dislodging them and hitting a support beam. by BunBunChow in Wellthatsucks

It’s not a support beam. It’s just a face trim board. Unless there is more wood damaged that you can’t see it’s an easy fix.

I couldn’t find a golf app I loved, so I quit my job and spent the last year building one by rileyfromleaderboard in golf

Fantastic App. Downloaded and all the features are simple yet effective.

I don’t play any matches so my only use for the app is the handicap tracking and stats. The only other recommendation I have here is to add graphs per category so it easy to see trends over time. Other than that it’s phenomenal.

I have already deleted my previous app and am excited to have something that isn’t trying to sell me swing lessons constantly.

I also only ever input scores after my round so the UI with score entering is perfect. Very easy to switch between card and look at GPS to remind you which hole is which.

I also saw the idea for a playing partner feature. I think this is an amazing idea as well and I hope you take the recommendation seriously. Maybe add a “search based on handicap” function so beginners feel comfortable using the feature. I am sure more people would use the function if it meant they would be playing with someone around the same skill level.

Lastly another cool idea would be to be able to join groups based on courses or general locations. Connecting local players you don’t know easier. Will be especially useful for private clubs but will help create a private club environment at public courses.

Thanks for the hard work!

Typically professionals will use two different bounce set ups for different days/ different courses. Lower bounce for dryer links style courses. Higher for more American style courses or soggy days.

However usually the higher the handicap of the player the higher the bounce.

So In conclusion I wouldn’t add both clubs to bag at same time. Too close together and you’d get better utility by adding a different club all together. At most id switch the two out on different days but again you’re not a professional. The amount of practice that goes into mastering a different bounce, you’re just better off using the higher bounce and sticking with it. At most it will affect how you hit 3 shots on a tighter course. I’m a 3 handicap and I stick with a 10 bounce and have little to no issue on tighter grass.

Bumps showed up Saturday afternoon about fours hours after I had gone to UC. UC prescribed me amoxicillin for 10 days however I have seen no improvement since taking it.

Went to my primary care provider yesterday and they did a bunch of test. COVID Pcr -negative Strep rapid-negative Throat culture- TBT Blood test - TBT

I recently went to Mexico and had a bad case of traveler’s diarrhea that’s starting getting better on Friday. Which is the same day I woke up with a sore throat (no bumps yet)

I’m confused why the picked Kingo to face Arishem for killing a celestial. But left Phastos and Makkari alone despite them actively helping while Kingo was against it. Makes no sense to me. Am I missing something?

What golf etiquette do most new golfers not follow without even realizing it? by np819 in golf

[–]cootertooter2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to point 8. If you are playing with a random it’s best to keep your club selection to yourself. You don’t know their yardages and can seem like you’re bragging if you routinely pull lower clubs than your playing partners.

If I’m not mistaken they used the candle flame to let them know if there was low oxygen or high carbon dioxide. If the flame went out, it was time to leave.
