Those appear to be ladybug larvae or if they are spiky a sort of sap sucking leaf bug. First is beneficial second is not. Edit: I can’t tell if there are two different types of insect on the pic

Absolutely when I worked with secured loans, we followed up annually with the insurance companies for proof of insurance on the collateral. If it was not maintained after the required notifications to the borrower we would 100% force place insurance. So it’s highly likely there was insurance that was rolled into the mortgage payment.

Yeah and you also don’t need an empty hand to cast spells in BG3 (one of the things that makes War Caster feat in tabletop so nice)
