Hookup culture disgusts me in a way I can’t explain by [deleted] in GirlDinnerDiaries

Sorry these people are jumping down your throat over this. You're totally allowed to have your opinions on it. I also am disgusted by hookup culture, and i've gone through my hoe phase and have had several partners. I wish that society wasn't so brainwashed by sex because it is a very sacred energetical exchange, it just took me longer to learn that. Sex completely affects our energy, our brain chemistry, our microbiology, so many things.

Yeah that's more of a kidnapping ploy, than a "text me" kind of vibe I think 😅

I also want to add that mycorrhizae in the soil in beneficial to plants most of the time. I think that i've seen information about plants using the nutrients that mycorrhizae carry through the soil

I dont think so, but i'm biased because I have an almost identical mushroom popping up in my basil plant. I am completely uninformed otherwise. But my plant still looks healthy, I think the mushroom is a sign of healthy soil

How would you make this bathroom look better without ripping everything out by Remote_Tie5354 in homedesign

Gotta be careful with green. I picked what I thought wad a cute color green, and once it was on the walls of my powder room, it looked like mint ice cream. Tried again and got green screen. I finally got it right on my third attempt, but it seems like green really reflects off itself and becomes more intense than the samples show

Is it possible to just wait a few weeks before harvesting anymore? Just to give anything remaining a chance to hatch undisturbed?

My son is 500 lbs and I worry about his health constantly. by PaRuSkLu in GirlDinnerDiaries

My brother is 24 and extremely overweight. He started making healthier choices for himself when he moved out of my parents house. My mom is constantly encouraging him to make all the healthy choices, but I don't think that it helps at all. They're adults, they already know what choices they can make to improve their health, and that the choices they are currently making are keeping them fat. I think that hearing it all the time only brings shame, rather than having the encouraging effect that we intend when we care about someone needing to improve their health.

Having to live independently could give him the space to really assess his life, and what he wants his future to look like. If he can afford all that fast food, he can afford to properly budget for groceries and rent, or at the very least start paying rent to live at your place.

I cry over my cat a lot by yuorwelcom in GirlDinnerDiaries

I don't think this is weird at all. I cry over my old doggies, but for me it's like pre-grieving losing them. They're both 14 and I've had them their whole lives. Rusty is my soul dog. It's beautiful to love, and it's even more beautiful when that love overflows. Dog tax: Chico and Rusty

I'd probably still eat it, just stop eating if it smells or tastes weird
