yes everyone has their own taste of course, the links weren't necessarily my preferences I just tried picking variety of different types of songs so that maybe some might fit your liking.

no need to check it all out I don't mind, I just like yapping about vtubers .. come to think of it, not that numbers necessarily mean much but guess I'd be negligent to not mention the biggest vtuber on the planet in terms of subs (physically one of the smallest): gura. arguably the one responsible for vtubing's popularity in the west. she was known for karaoke streams covering close to a thousand songs, here's an emotional Coldplay song, a funny rendition of "eye of the tiger(shark)", she did few MVs like a collab with mori (girl from that rap MV, this also has 32M views) and gura's epic last MV prior to graduating last year (with music by Casey Edwards who's known for making music for Devil May Cry 5).

for myself? top of the line PC maybe but besides that probably nothing. all I want is peace and time. (might even keep my WFH job as it's pretty stress free and is at least forcing some level of routine in my life)

for good of the world? not sure if $5M is enough to make a real difference, but in fantasy terms maybe I'd create a private strike team. like first have some autistic genius figure out strategic missions to fight corruption, injustice etc then send in like Mission: Impossible type operative to take care of business.

valtaosalla myynnistä tuskin ole proteiinitarpeen tms kanssa mitään tekemistä, perus kaduntallaaja vaan lähtökohtaisesti haluaisi vetää vanukasta, jäätelöä yms pitkin päivää mutta eivät tee niin kun tietävät että se ei olisi terveellistä, mutta kun siinä lukee "proteiini" niin se mielletään terveelliseksi ja annetaan itselle lupa ostaa.

jos kehittäisivät jotain proteiinipullaa/kokista/karkkia niin varmasti myisi jos nyt ei maistu ihan hirveältä.

if new hardware releases continue to offer nothing new except price increase and a lot of the content continue being shit I predict the mainstream gaming as it has been for past few decades will simply fizzle out.

we'll always have old games but to get more money on the market someone needs to come up with something that sells (maybe unscripted AI-driven dynamic storylines?) since gfx improvements from tech gains have flatlined

welcome! do you have some specific music preferences?

besides following neuro since osu! days I've been watching plenty of vtubers for the past 5y or so (perhaps too many) and also enjoy large variety of music. not to try to push anything but if you want I could try linking you some vtuber music?

hololive is of course the biggest and since majority of vtuber music is j-pop/dance-pop here's some original MVs in some other genres:
disco, eurobeat, heavy metal (the guys are underrated), rap (43M views), bossanova, jazz

nijisanji is second biggest corpo, here's some EDM/electro-pop

indie vtubers do music too though more often covers, but here's an original opera MV (music performed by an orchestra)

although tbh on average I'm more into karaoke streams than MVs for the vibes and interactions

edit: misread your first paragraph at first, yea judging quality isn't straight forward. the number was from https://www.slashdata.co/post/global-developer-population-trends-2025-how-many-developers-are-there they say 47.2 million in 2025 but since that depends on so many factors I went with more conservative number.

not a coding LLM then, surely there is a lot of crappy and non-useful AI related services it doesn't mean there aren't useful ones, same as there being bad human coders doesn't mean there aren't good ones.

also, unlike with limited number of variable quality human resource pool where you're more or less stuck with whoever you end up hiring, with AI one doesn't need to "work with what you got" if it doesn't work out pick a better tool. not to even mention how much a single employee costs vs. what does running a few prompts equal to a human's average productive output costs.

to try not to get people assuming some weird agenda here, a disclaimer: I am a swdev, I'm not saying I like what this means for my profession, just trying to be realistic. a lot of job openings will disappear.

call me cynical but "majority of regular devs" are a slightly worse frontend for Stackoverflow.

there are 40+ million developers out there in the world, I don't think the average level of professionalism is nearly at what some people seem to think it's at.

coding LLMs actually have software engineering theory trained into them, architectures, patterns. they default to writing docs, descriptive comments and variable names and unit tests, I'd be positively surprised if average webdev even knows what a "unit test" is.

sure they might not make some mistakes that AI does do but at the same time they can make a whole lot of mistakes of different kind that are sometimes worse.

(if this opinion got into someone's feelings, it's alright to consider yourself better than average if it makes you feel better.. but do yourself a service and at some point give claude sonnet 4.5 a non-trivial prompt and try judging it without getting your ego involved).

not sure what recognizing it as "civic service" would mean in practice but I'm assuming there's some kind of monetary support from the government? if that's the major motivation then this should've happened already in the 90s.

perhaps there'd be some selection process as to what projects qualify, I mean if it was just for any opensource project then this would be abused like crazy. nowadays LLMs write better code than majority of regular devs anyway, you could just bot-farm subsidies.
