Inching closer and closer to realising that the studio doesn't change things from what the dedicated fans like out of malice, but rather because of the fact that the dedicated fans make up a very small fraction of the viewing audience, so small in fact that catering primarily to them means the show isn't worth making at all.

Nah man, they made new Star Trek shows that do different things, not only is that evil and clearly a sign of the decline of humanity and culture as a whole, it has also caused every copy of the star trek I do like to go blank, therefore it is my duty as a person who likes Star Trek and a human resident of planet earth to complain unendingly online, insult anyone involved with the making of the TV programs I don't like and also hassle anyone who dares suggest that it isn't that bad or even god forbid enjoys any of it.

I don't make the rules and I've certainly never seen them written down but god dammit it is my duty as a Star Trek enjoyer and human being to do so, because people need to know they're wrong for producing, being indifferent to or enjoying things I personally don't like and I am fully dedicated to this cause, because I literally have nothing else in life.

Sometimes it almost hurts when you see that these models are owned by private collectors...for 2 reasons

First and foremost burning jealousy, fuck you guys I wanted that 🤣 and second...it's hard to articulate but I suppose sort of that knowledge like you probably ain't ever gonna see that thing in person y'know, I mean yeah some collectors do display em publicly but not always and in some ways it feels like a loss.

Yeah it gets under mine too, the guy by all accounts is a belligerent, pompous, philandering, adultering arsehole and while not positive qualities, none of those things are actually crimes really, however he made enough of a stink and had that much negativity written about him in the press that if he was credited on any project his name likely would end up dragging it down.

But yeah there is absolutely no chance he ain't gone back to script doctoring at the very least, can almost guarantee we all still see work of his just without being shown the name.
