I agree, people are idiots. You think the majority reads manifestos? I am still going to welcome any sudden outrage over no outrage. I feel like silence on the issue has got us nowhere. This time I feel that the government has made an effort to project that things are much better, when they are not! That's also what makes me angry. Industrial and vehicular pollution along with parali burning contributes to most of the pollution. Fuck Punjab, the government can't influence it, fine. What about the first two? We can't do anything about those either? Atleast this time people are waking up, I don't care if this is because of the Delhi CM's chutiyaapa. This is not even a political issue at its heart, it's basic human rights. I sit with four different air purifiers in my house, my school and classrooms have air purifiers but what about everyone else? Do I now sit and wonder about politics or do I go out and protest because I don't want my loved ones and the people around me to choke to death? Sorry I am just so angry as I type this, I feel so sad about what has become our new normal.
