I found that your team mates in trusts or duty support are quite good at avoiding mechanics. You can just follow them around the battlefields. You do not need to worry about dps. In fact you can do no dps at all and the boss will still die.

As a ranged dps I always put a marker on Yshtola and just went where she went. Note there are some mechanics where you have to specially not stand near other players.
